Back in the 90's, I used to be a huge fan of Takeshi Kitano and I ended up watching 9 of his movies. I have to admit that, nowadays, I don't follow much his work anymore but it doesn't seem that I'm missing much. "February 4th Directed by: Takeshi Kitano I think I had a really misconstrued idea of what Kitano's style was. Kids Return and A Scene at the Sea were surprises to me but I think that's just the kind of picture he makes. Dolls is maybe the quietest and most contemplative of Beat Takeshi's films I've seen. A film meant to be felt, not understood, on that note there's a lot of clashing images, suddenly making me wonder if I'm still watching the same movie. At the same time, I think it was kind of"
