The movie starts very slow but keep up with that , you will definitely connect to it. This movie is a must watch.

Lousy thriller, with naif political background even it is based in interesting real facts. Emma Watson finds comfortable to express nothing as her role demands.

Lena and Daniel, a young couple become entangled in the Chilean military coup of 1973. Daniel is abducted by Pinochet's secret police and Lena tracks him to a sealed off area in the South of the country, called Colonia Dignidad. The Colonia presents itself as a charitable mission run by lay preacher Paul Schäfer but, in fact, is a place nobody ever escaped from. Lena decides to join the cult in order to find Daniel. Based on true events.

" DVD- 1hr 50min. First Viewing There's an incredible story to be had here; anything involving violent religious fanaticism does. Colonia doesn't really care about that though, with it's main focus on jump scares and brutality. None of the cast gets much to do, as there is little to no genuine character work here. It's just a wallow in careless inhumanity and brutality, devoid of any genuine soul. For a similar story done far better, watch The Handmaid's Tale. "
