This time, the uncompromising heroes of this crime-comedy are investigating a case of forged 100-dollar notes. Csöpi Ötvös, a man difficult to regulate, is just suspended from work, thus the investigation is led by the ham-handed Kardos. Csöpi's actions are supported by the sailing children led by Mr. Purci and Topolino. The scoundrels lay a trap, and throw the shadow of suspicion over Ötvös as a murderer.
