" Date: 8/2/2020 Viewed: Youtube First Viewing Note: I have been curious to watch this movie because I'm a fan of silent movies. People claim that this is the first feature-length horror movie to be made despite the fact that L'Inferno aka Dante's Inferno was made two years before this movie. Many websites claim that this movie runs at 85 or 90 minutes long. However, I only end up watching a 45th-minute version that exists on Youtube. The version that I also watched on Youtube was super blurry"

"Certainly my least favorite of the adaptations of this story I've seen, this 1913 take is marred by being made in 1913 and not by one of cinema's innovators, which means a lot of static shots of people dancing, talking, sitting, looking at paint dry.
