Eddie Roberts Presents: Omar Coleman's 'Strange Times'

We’re pleased to announce that January's album Eddie Roberts Presents Omar Coleman. We couldn't think of a better record to kick off our 2024 album releases and this one is coming out of the vault from a 2020 session at Color Red Studios.

Hailing from the West Side of Chicago, Coleman grew up entrenched in soul music and black music that defined the era in the mid-90s. In 2020, Coleman flew to Denver, CO, headquarters of Color Red, to work on an album produced by Eddie Roberts. Roberts enlisted fellow Color Red collaborators Eric Halborg (Dragondeer), Cole Rudy (Dragondeer), Carl Sorensen (Dragondeer), Chris Spies (Eddie Roberts & The Lucky Strokes, Honey Island Swamp Band) and Dan Africano (Thievery Corporation, Death by Dub) to play on the session.
