The Worst Epics

Michael Bay adds fictional characters to Pearl Harbor. As well as romance, bromances and love triangles.
Hoping for the success of Titanic. Roland Emmerich (Independence Day) managed to even make a better movie, in Midway.
Since it felt less like a soap opera.

Just watch the Passion of Joan of Arc instead.

I actually think all the Transformers films have their moments. The first and Bumblebee are the only ones good from beginning to end though.
The Bay sequels start out well enough. Then the action starts and never stops.
With each almost 3 hour film just leading to Optimus giving a similar speech about mankind each time.
In other words there’s no pay off. Unless you call leaving with a migraine a pay off.

A visually stunning film full of beautiful women. That is quite forgettable.
It wants to be an action version of Pan’s Labyrinth. Except it just kind of sucks.

Known as the worst of the 3 films.

The sequels feel like they were made just for more money. They just drag along without feeling as inspired as the first film.

Visually stunning. Great cast as well. What is about ? I have no clue.

The 3rd is the best because it’s much shorter and Michael Bay didn’t direct. So Bad Boys 3 actually had a good story.
Bad Boys 2 is just loud, long and has no reason to even attempt to be epic.

The action is actually fun at times. The cast is pretty good as well.
There’s just not much plot though. 6 Underground is just another film that shows Michael Bay has talent. He just doesn’t bother making sure his films actually have a story. Or reason for the movie to be so long.

Better than critics say, white washing and all. However, I recommend the Ten Commandments and the Prince of Egypt more

The film does have it’s good aspects. The screenplay is a mess though.
It wants to be too much. Introduce Justice League members, adapt the death of Superman. As well as tease what was supposed to come in Snyder’s version of Justice League.
However it is all just thrown together hoping it will work.
