The more units you have in a particular battle the better. Except there are multiple objectives to fight over with your enemy. Do you concentrate forces and try to kill of the smaller concentrations of your enemy, or split up and try to take as many unit producing objectives as possible.

Most strategy games are made from a whole lot of simpler decisions each of which can be made into mini games themselves. I imagine simplifying the problems like this will help make solutions and win strategy games. Also make better games. Suggestions are appreciated.
