Remember when this was simply called Star Wars? Damn, I feel fucking old.
THE GOOD: The first Star Wars has everything. A great plot, action, drama, a great cast.
THE BAD: I guess it could have had a better lightsaber duel, but that's a minor problem.
OVERALL: The first Star Wars is the best!

THE GOOD: Great plot, including plot twists. There is also a great lightsaber battle . . . . and there's Yoda!
THE BAD: If I remember correctly, it is a little too stretched out. Maybe it could have used more editing.
OVERALL: Another kick-ass Star Wars film!

THE GOOD: Cool fight scenes. It's also a nice way to wrap up the trilogy.
Fine, I'll admit it - Leia in the metal bikini is a plus.
THE BAD: At times it felt too silly.
OVERALL: Not as good as the first two, but still good.

THE GOOD: The coolest lightsaber battle in Star Wars history. Liam Neeson as Qui Gon Jinn.
And of course, my favorite Star Wars character of all time ....
JAR JAR BINKS!
THE BAD: There is plenty of boring filler.
OVERALL: It's got a lot of Jar Jar Binks! Need I explain more?

THE BAD: Long boring stretches and awkward Anakin-Padme scenes. And there is not enough Jar Jar, damn it!
OVERALL: The weakest Star Wars film ever!

THE GOOD: Finally, the second half or so is what fans wanted to see!
THE BAD: Much of the first half or so is unnecessary filler. And there is not enough Jar Jar, damn it!
OVERALL: A nice way to end the prequel trilogy, although it could have been better.

THE GOOD: Great cast! Although much of it seems to be recycled, at least it's entertaining.
THE BAD: It feels like Episode 4 recycled for new audiences.
OVERALL: It's not the original trilogy, but at least it's good.

THE GOOD: There is the Darth Vader scene near the end. That was so fucking cool.
And there's Felicity Jones! Eye candy sure helps.
THE BAD: It's the least memorable of the Star Wars films. Little stands out.

THE GOOD: It is well cast and the scene in which Rey and Kylo Ren fight the Praetorian Guard is really cool. It's better than Episode 7, but still far from the originals.
THE BAD: There is unnecessary filler and it seems too slow. Then there are two useless characters - Rose and Holdo - who don't really serve a purpose.
OVERALL: It should have been better. And it could have used some fucking Jar Jar, damn it!
