Basket Case (1982)
At one point Duane and Belial were conjoined twins (until they were separated, of course) but Duane is well into his 20s and still protects Belial, gets him cheeseburgers, cares about him and carries him around in a picnic basket. Even though Belial is a little nuts. That's a real brotherly bond, right there.

They might get on each others nerves like all brothers and sisters, but when they have to, Gertie, Elliot and Michael stick together.

Teenage Gracie gives up school and the fun of being a kid to raise her three younger brothers and keep them together as a family.

Pin (1989)
Even though Leon is pretty insanely out to lunch in la-la Land, younger sister Ursula tries her best to be a good sister, even asking her new boyfriend to entertain Leon's delusional beliefs.

Radio Flyer (1992)
Aw, can you imagine a cuter pair than little Bobby and Mikey? Sad movie, but their brotherly bond is quite impressive. Mikey even risks a beating for Bobby. That's a true sibling.
Lex's rating:
Anyone who has seen even 1 episode of "Supernatural" realizes how close the Winchester brothers, Sam and Dean, are. Older Dean has been looking out for "little" brother Sam (who towers over him) since their mother passed away when Dean was 4 and Sam was just a baby (sure, their Dad was around then, but much of the responsibility in raising Sam went to Dean). Not to mention that they hunt monsters of all sorts together. Cute.
Lex's rating:
Bart and Lisa might seem like opposites- Lisa likes school and is conscientious; Bart likes to goof off and pull pranks. But at the end of the day, these animated siblings are closer than most.
Lex's rating:
The X Files (1993)
Young Fox was a good big brother. So good, in fact, that when little sister Samantha goes "missing", Fox dedicates the rest of his freakin' life to finding her, hence creating The X-Files program.
Lex's rating:
What's Eating Gilbert Grape (1993)
Gilbert takes excellent care of younger brother Arnie, even though Arnie is 17, mentally challenged with some autistic tendencies and constantly disobeying Gilbert and trying to climb water towers (as just one example). Oh sure, Arnie bugs Gilbert. But Gilbert's patience and love for his little brother is undeniable.
