Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam (2010)
It's still a guilty pleasure due to the normal problems, but the plot is more streamline, the characters are slightly better and it's overall a lot more energetic and fun.

Paranormal Activity 3 (2011)
I found the first film to be kind of dull, and not at all scary. However, they fixed with this one, which is very scary and quite an underrated sequel.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation (2013)
I actually really enjoy the first one, but i found this one to be a bit better since it has better acting and pace.

Kung Fu Panda 2 (2011)
Dreamworks has a good track record for a sequels, and this is their best. How can a movie with this title be so amazing?!

Shrek 2 (2004)
The first was funny, but this was flat out hilarious, with a sweet story and great characters.

Spider-Man 2 (2004)
The first film, while very good, had weak effects, some weird moments, and awkward dialogue. They fixed that this time around with a good story, great action and it's all around better. Though MJ isn't as hot as before for some reason.

This franchise is a huge guilty pleasure for me, but this one comes close to being kind of decent, but it has that dumb-ness i love. It feels very over the top and theatric, and it's song reflects this, feeling really huge cuz it's an actual movie this time. Very enjoyable.

Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa (2008)
The first was very funny and original, but this has a good story, deep moments, and a better pace. I can't decide if the 3rd one is the best, even though it is the funniest.

One of my fave DCOM's, this was even more creative, and it was just awesome.
