There is so much product placement in this movie. It's a little insane, actually.

Texaco Gas

Pepsi...pretty shameless, actually.

Nike The boots Marty McFly puts on right before he flies on the Mattell Hover Board are Nike.

Oh yeah, and who can forget the dehydrated Pizza Hut pizza?

Big Daddy (1999)
Too lazy to look for Screen Caps, but who can forget the Sonny taking little Julien to McDonald's for breakfast (and they get there too late, Julien starts crying and sonny shouts something to effect of "Get the kid a Freaking HAPPY MEAL!"). Oh yeah, and Hooters Restaurants are mentioned more than a few times in this.

Wilson brand volley balls are shown, of course.

As well as Fed Ex trucks, planes and logos, etc, and I think there are a few other brands thrown around in this movie. Even though it takes place on a deserted island.

Lex's rating:
I couldn't find any screen caps, but I can remember a
Budweiser commercial playing when Roy is going nuts and building his huge model of Devil's Tower in the living room.

I also seem to remember a close up of a McDonald's right before the power goes out over the entire state, and I am pretty sure that was a brand-named Polaroid camera Neary's kids were playing with in the middle of the movie.
Lex's rating:
Well, who could forget the infamous Reese's Pieces scene at the beginning?

Honorable Mentions:
Star Wars action figures in Elliot's Room.
Yoda Halloween Costume
Dungeons and Dragons board game
Coor's Beer is the beer E.T. gets himself (and Elliot) drunk on and I am pretty sure Elliot asks E.T. some time in the movie if he wants a Coke?

I Am Sam (2002)
Well, Sam works at Starbucks see we see that logo over and over.

Also of note: Sam buttons little Lucy's diapers with a Hertz-rent-a-car button...

The camera zooms up several times to show us Sam tidying up the Sweet 'N Low packets...

And I believe at the end Sam also works forPizza Hut. There is also a discussion during the trail with Annie, where Annie tells the judge Sam asks her quetions all the time, and recounts how he asked what laundry detergent was best to get grass stains out of Lucy's soccer uniform and Annie told him Biz.

I am sure there was even mor eproduct placement when Sam is in the grocery store with infant Lucy looking at diapers and formula, but I tuned it out.

I haven't seen this in a while so I am probably missing a ton of stuff, but who can forget the Barbasol shave cream can that Dennis Nedry (anagram for Nerdy?) uses to transport the dinosaur embryos?

Note: I am pretty sure the image above is a prop from the movie as those don't look like Nedry's hands. :) But it was a Barbasol shave cream can in the movie. Don't worry.

Little Nicky (2000)
Popeye's Chicken anyone?

Manhunter (1986)
The product placement in this was subtle, and possily unavoidable. There is a scene where Will Graham is shopping with his young son and having a talk with the boy about his time in a psych ward. As they walk by you see different brands of cereal and finally the boy asks if his father wants Folger's coffee, and comments that their mother also likes that same brand.

Poltergeist (1982)
When little Carol Anne tells her mother, after a day of sliding around on the kitchen floor with a football helmet on, that she is hungry her mother's response is something to the effect of "We'll go to Pizza Hut, Okay?" Something like that. It was a comment, not a visual placement but I know Pizza Hut was mentioned because I always want to have Pizza Hut pizza for some reason when I see Poltergeist.

After running away from Grandma's house with her parents and brother, Carol Anne asks her parents where they will go (if they can't go home). Then she asks if they will go to Disney Land, to which Robbie replaces "Oh puke, don't be such an infant!" and Carol Anne counters with, "Okay, how about Dunkin' Donuts?"

Radio Flyer (1992)
Well, of course the huge brand name here is the name of the movie: Radio Flyer. I was nine or so when I saw this movie and I loved it so much that, even though I thought wagons were for babies, I suddenly wanted a Radio Flyer wagon. Or one of those bikes "Fisher" has at the beginning.

Not to mention, both boys prominently wear black Converse All Star sneakers. I know Converse all-stars were big in the late 60s so it's not that weird, but this is a list of product placement.
Lex's rating:
Don't even have to mention it. But I will. Old Spice and Wonder Bread of course.

There were references to Pepsi Cola all throughout this movie. Everywhere. Here are just two examples:

There is also a Pepsi machine in the Skynet building where Dyson works (I remember that) and the young man with his cafeteria lunch tray who runs up to Dyson to ask him about the Terminator chip and hand has a can of Pepsi on his lunch tray as well.

When Cole is at that bully's birthday, his mother tells another mother that Cole doesn't get invited places, that the last time was a year ago, at Chuck-E-Cheese's where Cole proceeded, apparently, to hide in a big purple tunnel.

Also, at the begnning, when the ghosts ar screwing with the cupboards in the kitchen and his mother coms in and screams, she looks at a very freaked out Cole and asks him if he wants something, and he says in a quiet voice: "Pop Tart?"

The Wizard (1989)
Well, the entire movie is basically a long commercial for Super Nintendo and Mario Bros. and the Nintendo Power Glove. Also mentioned:

Nintendo Power Magazine and I believe Ho-Ho's as well as Twinkies are mentioned at least once (isn't there a scene where Jimmy and his older brother escape Jimmy's group home in the back of a Hostess Cake delivery van? What do you know, there is! And Wonder Bread is also an accomplice!

Wayne's World (1992)
I can't remember much of this movie. But, yeah, Pizza Hut was pretty shameless here.

Note: It's been a long time since I have seen Waynee's World and this may have even been a commercial. Still using the popularity of a movie to sell products, at any rate.

I think this scene with Pepsi is actually from the movie, but remember, it's been a while since I have seen this.

A list of movies I can remember with obvious product placement in them. I will try to include a photo when I can find one, but I will also list the product placements I remember. "Product Placement" is subliminal advertising and it does work. To this day I prefer to drink Pepsi because Terminator 2 made such a huge impact on me as a young child. Now I am used to it and it's a habit, and there is comfort in the familiarity of that stupid brand name soda. I can even remember eating Butterfinger chocolate bars once, after I saw a few commercials with Bart Simpson declaring "Nobody better lay a finger on my butterfinger!" And no, I do not like Butterfingers. If you watch movies, please remain consciously aware of product placement and how companies use it to manipulate audiences of certain fandoms into buying their products.

Note: I will go looking for screen caps to add to this list, later. This list has a lot of work to be done on it.
