Jersey Girl (2004)
Kind of cute, the story revolves around a man and his little daughter more than romance, but Liv Tyler saves the day with cutiness. I don't know why Jennifer Lopez is credited for this movie, she's there for just 5 minutes or so.

Gone with the Woman (2007)
A fun norwegian movie with hilarious gags and situations. The ending scene is one of the cutest ever seen...
This is the scene where the guy tries to finish the relationship (the furniture is a metaphore):

Just Like Heaven (2005)
I really DON'T like Mark Ruffalo, he's a mumbeling actor, but he works somehow in this movie. Not great, but OK. Reese Witherspoon is cute as always.
The story is a original one, a guy falls in love with a ghost or kind of a coma-spirit I guess.

Addicted to Love (1997)
Revenge leads to love... Meg Ryan is the queen of romantic comedies, the story is cute, funny and thrilling.
One of my favourites from my teenage-years.

Kate & Leopold (2001)
Probably the most sci-fi-ish of the movies in this list. A gentleman from the 18th century travels through time and ends up in New York in the present - and meets the woman of his dreams - Meg Ryan (queen of romantic comedies... :p).
The Proposal (2009)
A book editor is forced to marry her male assistant in order to stay in the country. When they travel to Alaska to meet his family, the new couple has to fake their way through a surprise wedding thrown by his parents. Sandra Bullock is as cute as she was in Speed. :)
Pretty Woman (1990)
Businessman falls in love with a prostitute, and they have to pretend she's not for everyone else - Maid in Manhattan-kind of twist...
I guess this is the greatest romantic comedy of the early 90's.

The Holiday (2006)
Romantic comedy meets christmas movie. Two women borrows each others houses - to get away from a man destroying their lifes. Jude Law's character has a secret that makes this movie very special - watch it if you don't already have!

P.S. I Love You (2007)
The love of her life dies - and begins to write letters and messages to her telling her to move on with her life, every hint and clue signed with P.S. I love you. I don't actually like Hillary Swank, but this movie is romantic - so romantic... :)
PolarCow's rating:
Music and Lyrics (2007)
Hugh Grant (king of romantic comedies) in a extraordinary "get-stuck-in-your-head"-music-comedy. Pop! goes my heart!
Amélie (2001)
French film at it's best - good fx, lovely characters and a funny story - companied by a sweet romance. What more could you ask for?

Will Hayes, a 30-something Manhattan dad is in the midst of a divorce when his 10 year old daughter, Maya, starts to question him about his life before marriage. Maya wants to know absolutely everything about how her parents met and fell in love. He's changing all the names in his story, so Maya and the audience has to guess who actually is Maya's mother - love it!

Like Serendipity, this is the kind of romantic movie where the lead characters is in relationsships already, and then meet their man/woman of their dreams... Cute flashback to the early years of internet, and of course; Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan...
PolarCow's rating:
Notting Hill (1999)
Fantastic characters (Spike!), a good script and a lovely story about a regular man who wins the heart of the princess. Amazing!
Love Actually (2003)
So many love stories, so little time - this movie could go on and on... I just love the characters, the stories, the music, the gags...the best romantic comedy ever?
