A bit predictable and already-seen-it in some moments, dialogs are a little cliche, but you can't possibly make something new out of cancer story, can you? What you look for in a movie like this is not an original script or unconventional techniques but acting performances that make you believe the story. And the cast of this movie is very believable. You can't help but relate to every character, even Seth Rogen's character who is acting like a total asshole the entire time. You just want to hate him or punch him in the face but then you suddenly think: what would I do were I in his shoes?
Oh, and I can't go without mentioning the sweetest face of Joseph Gordon-Levitt. He's one of my favorites.

Drive (2011)
9/10 - BEST MOVIE
Thrilling and meditative, ambient and noir, dark and violent - this movie is everything but what you expect. Being a huge fan of Ryan Gosling I was, once again, amazed by his work. The Driver character is so mysterious, and calm, and silent, that it's even creepy. You can see the enormous tension behind his beautiful eyes.

Robots! Guns! Katanas! Dragons! Monsters! Pretty girls in Japanese school uniforms and underwear!
If you think about film industry as consisting of three essential parts: artistic value, entertainment and profit making, this movie wins 2 out of 3.

If that was really the last Cruise's action movie, then it was a good one. A pretty entertaining movie, it gives you everything you expect it to give. Dangerous stunts. Check. Cool spy devices. Check. Clever schemes. Check. Fine British humor. Simon Pegg, check. Beautiful ladies in gorgeous dresses. Paula Patton, check. Blowing up Kremlin. Check. Tom Cruise's famous profile. Check!

Two hours of looking at a girl desperately trying to have sex with her husband. And then facing consequences. 3 points for making Kristen Stewart ugly, that was hilarious.
I just hope that they didn't spend on this movie more than it deserves.

The Three Musketeers (2011)
5/10
Another predictable movie. Didn't feel sympathetic to any of the characters (well, maybe only to Aramis, because he was the least annoying person). This movie has so much in common with the Resident Evil series (Jovovich, special effects, stunts), that they are almost identical.
Oh, and why does the comic relief character always have to be fat?!
