My Late 2015 Oscar Predictions for Best Picture

Foxcatcher looks like a really strong contender this year and not just for Best Picture. Steve Carell is making a strong case for Best Actor. Personally i want Foxcatcher to win but i think boyhood is going to win best picture.

A movie spanning over 12 real years and seems to be loved by almost all critics with a 99% fresh rating and a average rating of 9.4/10 on rottentomatoes and a perfect 100 on Metacritic Boyhood seems to be the real front runner for best picture.

I don't know all that much about this movie but from the trailers it looks like a real contender for best picture which is crazy as this is only the second time Angelina Jolie has directed a feature film.

Yeah this shouldn't come as a surprise that a David Fincher film is going to be a front runner for best picture with his previous two films also being nominated this one looks like a lock also. The trailers looked really good and Ben Affleck as proven himself as a great actor.

While it seems unlikely that Christopher Nolan will win this award Interstellar looks to be a front runner in multiple categories this year but i think the plot for the film really helps make a case for best picture oh yeah plus Matthew McConaughey is the lead actor in it so that should help.

While its highly unlikely a comic book movie would win a oscar for best picture i think if one was to do so this film would be it.
