A very short, quick read. When I realized what Scott was doing at the end, I actually laughed out loud. The social message was approached in a way I haven't seen, but have thought about a lot, before. Prejudice towards someone often creates prejudice directed at those who do not deserve it.

The Institute
Great story! I really enjoy his stories with kids as the main characters. Something about them finding the strength and courage to do whatever it takes gets me.
The Dark Tower 1: The Gunslinger - Stephen King
Possibly the best opening line a 16 or 17 year old boy, new to Stephen King's works, could ever read. A lot of people have said they couldn't get into this series, if you're one of them - try again!!!

Pet Sematary - Stephen King
My introduction to King. I was 15, and knew I had found something life-changing... Church, Gage, and the sister with spinal meningitis still haunt me to this day.

IT - Stephen King
I was 15 or 16 when I read this for the first time. I still float, all these years later.

The Drawing of the Three: (The Dark Tower #2)... - Stephen King
Possibly my favorite book ever... Roland's Ka-Tet is formed when he forces The Prisoner and The Lady of Shadows to join him on his quest.

The Dark Half - Stephen King
Not long after reading this (I think I was 18 years old), my dad stopped and picked up a hitchhiker on our way home from work. A thunderstorm was rolling in. The sky had quickly and drastically dimmed, and it was starting to drizzle. A huge flock (murder?) of crows took flight and filled the sky. Shoulder to shoulder in the cab of my dad's old work truck, this dude looked over at me and said "Wow, that many birds could pick a man apart."
If you've read the book you'll understand how spooked I was. True story - and I wouldn't trade that memory for anything!

Gerald's Game - Stephen King
One of my all time faves, it creeped me out as a 17 year old kid, then creeped me out again upon re-reading it in my thirties.

The Green Mile - Stephen King
Your name is John Coffey? Yes sir boss. Like the drink, only not spelled the same.
Awesome book, great movie adaptation, perfect casting.

Song of Susannah : The Dark Tower VI - Stephen King
The only Dark Tower installment that I struggled with.

The Dark Tower: The Wind Through the Keyhole - Stephen King
I love Roland, his Ka-Tet, and their adventures. I hope King does more side stories related to this series. One of my favorites in the series.

Doctor Sleep - Stephen King
The sequel to the shining, Rose the Hat was a great character, and Danny's back, all grown up and still shining.

Mr. Mercedes - Stephen King
Bill, Holly, and Jerome are introduced. I really liked this, but haven't been able to get into the next book from the trilogy.

Revival
I really couldn't get into this one, plan to re-read at some point. NOTE - currently re-reading this and I'm loving it... IDK what was up the first time I read it.
Different Seasons - Stephen King
How can you not love a book that contains three stories that inspired really great movie adaptations? Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption (The Shawshank Redemption), The Body (Stand By Me), and Apt Pupil (Apt Pupil) are all worth reading and watching.

Stephen King books and stories I've read, listed in no particular order. I may try to re-read some that I didn't love, like Lisey's Story and Revival, I was at a different point in my life, and a different person in many ways.
