Part of the Avengers double feature. Saw it in 3D for the first time and thought it added to the movie nicely. Still a favorite.

Fun, entertaining and sometimes deep movie. Enjoyed much more than I anticipated. I think some of the parents who brought younger children got something they weren't expecting and many left early, so beware.

It wasn't awful, but we all agreed we were happy we didn't have to pay to see it. Many of the TV episodes were much funnier. Still, glad I saw it.

Finally got back to watch the sequels after the first one. Was fun to see what their vision of the future was. Katy loved it and we watched part 3 right after. Nice not to have to wait a year after that cliff hanger ending this time, like I had to originally!

Interesting and entertaining story of superheroes in an alternate timeline. Fairly decent at staying true to the comic book, and the differences didn't matter to me.

I saw this one when it first came out and I don't think I've seen it since. Recalling my original disappointment, it made it easier to enjoy this movie more. Not great, but fun. Kendra enjoyed it, but we both agreed that it was dragged out a bit too long.

I also saw this one when it first came out and I don't think I've seen it since. Again, having lowered expectations definitely made this more fun. We have been going through the series in "machete" order, 4,5,2,3,6 and I think it is a good order for someone who hasn't seen the films. Kendra can't really the ones she saw, since they were pretty long ago, and some of the twists were a surprise to her. Only RotJ is left.

This has been my favorite of the series for a long time. Watching again as an adult with some time having passed since the last viewing, I think I agree that Empire is probably the better movie. But, this one is still my favorite. One thing we both noticed was that this movie flew by; the pacing was right and it never felt like it dragged. Kendra enjoyed it and now we are ready for the Force Awakens tomorrow night.

This was a traditional Godzilla movie, but with modern special effects. Was fun to see, but it took a long time to get to the monster battle where there was maybe too much focus on the people. Still, worth a watch.

Very weird. Story of an actor who used to play the superhero, "Birdman" and his attempt to put on a play. In the story, it mentions that he hasn't been Birdman since 1992, which happens to be the time of the last movie Michael Keaton played Batman.

A great followup to Terminator 2. I was disappointed in 3 and feel this was a much better sequel. What happens when you time travel repeatedly? Eventually, timelines get messed up and you get an entertaining story. Hopefully, there will be further sequels to this timeline.

The heartwarming story of a man grieving for the wife he just lost to disease and how a dog she gifted him sends him on a journey of discovery and redemption. Filled with great action sequences and a simple but entertaining story.

It was only an hour and a half, but felt like an eternity. Story didn't make much sense, comedy was flat, characters dumb and awful. A kids movie just for kids. Happily, Katy liked it, so all was not lost.

This was the second of the two movies we watched on New Year's Eve 2016.

The draw of this movie for me was the imagery of Tomorrowland and the promise of the story that could take place there. I was, therefore, disappointed that a majority of the movie was them trying to get to Tomorrowland, with only glimpses of the city and not much actually happening there.

The story itself didn't make much sense. They were being attacked by the bad guys, with them trying to stop and destroy the heroes. However, once they get to Tomorrowland, they are immediately captured, with the plan being to exile them again. Huh?

The inspiration to "do something" to positively make the world a better place was a good one, but was oversold, especially with the ending.
