Getting Skippy in 2023

Here are movies I tried to watch in 2023 and never finished because of not liking them. I tried some of these because their casts included people I've liked in other movies. I tried others because they had a good reputation or people told me they're excellent. I respectfully disagree with those reputations and opinions. There is one exception: the TV movie "Women vs. Men." It is the only movie on both my list of first watches and skipped movies this year. I was convinced to give that movie another try after initially dismissing it. I ended up liking the movie...especially its ending! This just proves that first impressions can sometimes be wrong. Maybe some of the other movies on this list will be retried and actually enjoyed in the future too. It doesn't seem likely, but has happened before...one can never be 100% sure!

July 2024 Update:
"The Escort", which I probably skipped after its first scene (I still hate that scene) is now one of my favourite movies watched for the first time in 2024! Lesson learned: movies can start badly, but end up being rewarding if one is patient and gives them a chance, despite a negative first impression!
