" Amazon Prime- 1hr. 53min. First Viewing I'll be honest; I didn't really know the plot of this film before watching, so I was surprised by how damn depressing it all was. Sure, it's well made with solid direction and a commanding central performance from Rachel Weisz, but it's so bleak that some of the moments just register as slog, rather than revelatory. I would certainly recommend it; its not a fun film, or even just a dramatic one, but its an important one. Monthly Wesley AwardsBest Actres"
“I wasn't really sure what to expect from this movie but since I have a weak spot for Rachel Weisz, I thought I might as well check it out. First of all, I can't remember the last time I saw this actress playing the lead, she's just too good to play only supporting parts and, in this movie, she delivered another strong performance. Concerning the movie itself, to be honest, it took me a while to get into the damned thing. First of all, the title, while accurate, was seriously misguided as it was such a massive spoiler. Then, I wonder if it was really how Kathryn Bolkovac ended up in Bosnia because it wasn't really convincing and, if it was made up, I wish they came up with something better than that.
