My Favorite Vampire Books

An interesting take on the vampire myth where instead of being changed into a vampire you are marked by the goddess. Once marked, fledglings are taken to a special school where they learn about vampire life until they make the change. Of course there is love and drama, but also a quest to save the world.

The first of several in this series. More grown up than the other choices, and therefore I'm sure smuttier. I'm only on book 6 of the series. But so far so good.

A strange but totally interesting story where vampirism is a disease.

The beginning of the vampire sensation of this decade, but I've been reading vampire books my whole life. However, I thought the chemistry between the two main characters was amazing and that's what hooked me on these when the first one came out.

One of my first vampire books. I've been waiting for the last one in this series for over ten years now.

Loved this one as a teenager. Read all 6 in three days.
