Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines - PC Games

Plot: Set in modern-day Los Angeles, you wake up one morning to realize you are undead, a vampire. An unlawful act among vampires, the one who bit you is exterminated but Prince LaCroix, head of the Camarilla clan, spares your life and takes you under his wing, assigning tasks for you to complete for his organization. A full blown RPG, you select one of seven vampire clans, each with unique traits and stats, from the hideous but powerful Nosferatu who must use stealth to hide from the public, to the Ventrue, the aristocratic and influential vampires that control the city. Each clan offers different paths thru which the story unfolds.

Plot: Following the events in Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, Raziel discovers a way back through time and encounters one of the Circle of the Nine, Mobius the timestreamer. Raziel reluctantly agrees and heads off to discover the knowledge and weapons that will allow him to achieve his goal.

Kain awakens hundreds of years after the events of the first Blood Omen, in a world occupied by both magic and technology. He reluctantly joins a vampire resistance to restore rule to the vampires. The grim, shadowy world is very similar to the pseudomedieval setting of the Thief games.
BloodRayne 2 - Xbox

Plot: The story in this sequel is not a direct continuation from BloodRyane; rather, it take 60 to 70 years later, in modern 2000s setting. Rayne is now a full time member of Brimstone society, and has spend the last decades hunting down all half-siblings the were created by Kagan, her evil vampire father. The remainder of them have banded together to form the Cult of Kagan in order to defeat Rayne.

Plot: As a vampire, Kain is able to withstand sunlight, but is harmed by water. However, he is able to obtain several cursed abilities and spells such as being able to transform into a bat, wolf and even a cloud mist. As the enemies are slain in front of him, Kain may drink their blood to restore his health and to satisfy his insatiable craving.

Plot: Darkwatch is a secret organization that seeks to destroy evil from the world. Set in the Wild West, you play an outlaw, Jericho Cross, who is bitten by Lazarus, the vampire lord. You gain vampire abilities and are enlisted by Darkwatch to hunt down and destroy Lazarus, before you yourself become a full-blown vampire. You must choose good or evil vampire attributes as the story progresses.

Plot: Following the events of Soul Reaver 2, Defiance splits the story into two interconnected plots, one of the evil vampiric lord Kain, and the other of Raziel, the Soul Reaver, as they both try to escape their predicaments and fight back against those who seek to use them as manipulators in a grander plot.

But beware, this game has been give horrible ratings across most game magazines, some calling it a trainwreck, and others saying the terrible level design make it a pain in the neck (pun intended). Developer revamped it (pun intended) for the PS3 as Altered Species.

This game was developed by Terminal Reality, who went on to BloodRayne fame.
