God of War - PlayStation 4
Only on PS4 | Year: 2018
Metascore: 94
Platinum: 14th Jun 2018
Amazing gameplay, great characters, big monsters and Norse mythology to wrap it all up, this game is truly epic. Leviathan Axe is fantastic, I can't really explain why, but it feels so satisfying when you throw it at someone and recall it, or when you slash your way through enemies. Also the game doesn't have loading screens which really helped with immersion, and I can't remember any bugs or something like that and I done all the side quests.
I was hoping to fight more Gods, there is only a couple in this game, and some of the biggest names in Norse mythology were left for sequels, but that was expected.

Marvel's Spider-Man - PlayStation 4
Only on PS4 | Year: 2018
Metascore: 87
Platinum: 16th Sep 2018
I must say I'm not big Spider-Man fan, I watched a couple of movies, read a couple of comics and I think I played some old Spider-Man games, but this was the most anticipating game for me this year, because the gameplay was similar to Batman: Arkham series, and looked so fun to play.
And the game didn't disappoint me, it's super fun to play, and it's one of the best open world games to me. It's not too large to be overwhelming nor too small to not be worth the price. Swinging mechanics are awesome and my favorite thing in the game. It's really cool to swing around the city and it feels perfect just like Leviathan Axe.
I like this version of Spider-Man character more than movie versions, and the story is pretty decent for a Spider-Man game,

Horizon Zero Dawn - PlayStation 4
Only on PS4 | Year: 2017
Metascore: 89
Platinum: 15th Mar 2017
New IP from Sony, one of the rare AAA games that is not a sequel, prequel, remaster or something like that, so bonus points for that.
I like dinosaurs and robots, meshed together - even more, I know I sound like 12 year old boy, (I'm 27 if you are reading this in 2018) but those things can be really fun, especially in video games. I also like main protagonist Aloy, gameplay is really fun, graphics are one of the best on PS4, and the story is better than I had expected.
Although it's a new IP, it's not the most original game, there are stuff from other open world games, and the game is not challenging at all, but I still had a lot of fun playing it, and I completed everything in the game.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End - PlayStation 4
Only on PS4 | Year: 2016
Metascore: 93
In short, if you loved the first 3 games you gonna love A Thief's End too. There are some changes, and you can feel a lot of The Last Of Us, the game is more mature and realistic, but you still gonna see Nathan Drake doing some insane jumps that even some action movie characters wouldn't dare.
It's a very fun game, and I couldn't put down my controller until I finished the campaign, even when my eyes hurt a little I didn't stop, I just needed to see what happens in next chapter. Story is also great, and my favorite from the series, characters really grown on me, and there were some emotional moments, not like in TLOU but close enough. From the technical standpoint the game is fantastic, it's gorgeous looking game, animations and cutscenes are amazing, and gameplay is very smooth and responsive. There are no bugs, at least I didn't see them, except some problems with enemy's AI if you wanna call that a bug, but it's very rare.
Only problem for me is the hiding, it's not intuitive, and there's to much of it, I loved it in TLOU but here I feel like it's out of place, but don't worry there is also a lot of shooting, a lot more than in TLOU. Also like in TLOU enemy don't see your buddy, which is good because they can't do something stupid and screw you, but it can break immersion just a little.
All in all I get exactly what I expected and I'm very pleased with the game. Also it's not just a great game but a great nostalgic trip too, I loved Naughty Dog since Crash Bandicoot, and there are more than a few nods to older Naughty Dog's games.

Destiny - PlayStation 4
+ Destiny: The Taken King
and Destiny: Rise of Iron
Also On: PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One | Year: 2014/2015/2016
Metascore: 76/86/73
Although Destiny has many problems, I'm really enjoying it, I played it more than 200 hours, and I'm still playing it, I'll make my third character and even go for platinum trophy probably. I met many friends online because of Destiny, and we even play some other games together now.
I love Destiny because of great gunplay, fun super powers and with friends even grinding and playing the same content over and over isn't even boring, and I can play it all day long. Raids are something I never experience in fps games and they are great, first couple of times anyway. I also love PvP portion of the game, sure I get mad sometimes, but it's still fun for me and I'm not even that crazy about online first person shooters. Also The Taken King is great improvement, and Destiny is much better now than in vanilla days.

Platinum: 23rd Jan 2018
Superb fighting game, I love NetherRealm games, and with each new game it looks like they are getting better and better. There are lots of fighters, and most of them are great. I never expected to see Hellboy, TM Ninja Turtles, Sub-Zero and Batman in the same game, and they all fit in the game very well. Story is also pretty damn good for a fighting game, and I liked it more then all of the new DC movies. But the best thing in the game for me is gear. I played a lot of fighting games, but I'm not very good in them so I don't play online much, I do play locally versus my friends but that's rare, so I play against AI most of the time, and that's why gear is very important for me, because for the first time I have something to collect and look forward to it.
There is also problem with gear, 'cause it rarely drops for the characters you play the most, and when you have it a lot managing it can be tedious.

Batman: Arkham Knight - PlayStation 4
Also on: PC, Xbox One | Year: 2015
Metascore: 87
Great story with some amazing moments right from the beginning. Fighting is improved, there are new gadgets, graphic is top-notch, Gotham is bigger than ever and there are a lot of stuff to do.
Batmobile is the best thing and biggest flaw in the game. It's very cool and fun to play with, but there's too much of the batmobile, and Batman often feels useless without it.
Overall B:AK is a great game that will keep you busy for some time if you want to fully complete it, and must play for Batman fans. It also gets bonus points because it's the first game I played on my PS4.

Doom has one of the best single player campaign in fps genre in quite some time. Story is simple, kill demons - save the world, and the gameplay is simple too, kill fucking demons until the door is open. But that's what Doom was always about, and simplicity is why this game is great and so much fun. And to be honest there's more that you can do, and should do in Doom. You can upgrade your guns, discover secret rooms from classic Doom games and enjoy brutality and blood from various glory kills. Doom also looks great and runs great on PS4.
Multiplayer isn't bad, but it's nothing special and I played it very briefly...

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy - PlayStation 4
Also On: PC, Switch, Xbox One | Year: 2017
Metascore: 80
Crash Bandicoot was one of my favorite games when I was a kid, and N. Sane Trilogy is indeed "smashing blast from the past". I did rage a lot on some levels, because I was dying over and over again, and sometimes it didn't feel like it was my fault, but I like when the game is a little challenging, and it was fun despite some problems with controls. Graphics and sound are obviously better than ever.

Only on PS4 | Year: 2014

I always loved inFAMOUS games, and this entry is probably my favorite.
Delsin Rowe is a decent character played by Troy Baker, Delsin is not great like Joel or Booker DeWitt but he is cool and I liked him maybe even more than Cole. Story is good too, but a little short.
Superpowers in I:SS are awesome, and very fun to play with, even just running or flying over the town. There are more powers this time and not just electric based like in first two games. Town is beautiful and fun to explore.
Although it's a short game, it is a very fun game to play, and I would recommend this game to anyone that have PS4, especially now when it's a lot cheaper.

Story is not as good as in Mortal Kombat (9), and it's a little shorter, but manages to get you familiar with new characters, and I still liked it. I miss some old characters but the new fighters are cool and compensate for that.
Fighting is better, faster and with character variations there is even more things to learn. It's also more brutal and gross then ever before. There is new krypt, living towers, faction wars and plenty of things to keep you coming for more.
Great game for the fans of fighting genre, MK series, and everyone looking for some bloody good time.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - PlayStation 4
Also On: PC, Xbox One | Year: 2015

There are a lot of praises for this game, it won numerous game of the year awards and deservingly so, and although I think it's fantastic game it bored me a little, and it was a chore finishing it, for me.
The world is fantastic, it's beautiful, large and with many variations, the creatures are well designed and cool. Characters are great, it was a pleasure being in Geralt's shoes, and there are some powerful and cool women in the game, like Yennefer of Vengerberg, Triss Merigold and of course Ciri, they have great names too.
But the problem is that the game overwhelmed me with side quest's, there was no way I could finish even half of them, and when I decided to do only main quest those weren't that interesting.
Also I stopped playing The Witcher III, because I started Fallout 4 and Destiny so it was hard to come back to. I must say even when I was little bored, there were some cool scenes and boss fights. There are some little bugs, and framerate drops, but they are not game breaking, and there are less bugs than in Fallout 4, and it's understandable because the game is HUGE. You'll maybe think that I hate the game, but I don't, I love it, but I just didn't enjoyed it as much as majority of gamers...

Fallout 3 was one of my favorite games from last generation, and I was really hyped for this one, and it didn't disappoint me, but it didn't really justified big hype surrounding it. I still love the game very much, and in some ways it's better than Fallout 3. The gunplay is much better and it's much more enjoyable playing in first person than it was before. I also like story more, but the ending didn't have much impact, and I wasn't impressed as I was with Fallout 3. I love building, and I spent many hours decorating my home and helping settlements.
There are also quirky quests and characters like before, and Fallout 4 is basically more of the same which is great because I love Fallout 3, but it's also a downside if you wanted something groundbreaking or game-changing. And like in previous Bethesda's open world games, there are also a lot of small bugs, which usually aren't big problem, but I couldn't finish one main quest, and I had to wait until it was patched.

I love LBP planet series, and although I heard a lot of bad things for the third game I think it's amazing, but it does have few problems. Sumo Digital kept charm, cuteness and creativity from first two games, but there are some bugs, albeit those bugs are rare and usually nothing to worry of, I couldn't finish one side quest and that pissed me of. Main story is shorter than previous games, but both me and my girlfriend had a blast playing it. There are new characters and they are really cute and there is more variety in gameplay. There are tons of levels made by users, and all things from first two games are here. And it's cool to hear Hugh Laurie in LBP, too.
I think it's well worth 10$.

I like Diablo the most because it has co-op mode, and it's really great local co-op mode and not just online multiplayer like every other game, in that sense Diablo III is rare.

I have mixed feelings for this game, it varies from being great to just okay, never bad though.
There are some epic scenes in this game, but also some meh moments. Some quests are great, but also some of them are boring. Combat is very easy, but that's probably my fault cause I played it on normal.
There is a lot of content, big and beautiful open "worlds" that are fun to explore, I just wish there is a photo mode. Also there are some great characters, and lots of very cool and fun conversations, and amazing soundtrack.
I still think this game is very good, and one of the best from 2014, but I had very high expectation for this game, and it didn't quite deliver.

But a bug that deleted my save files twice really pissed me of, and I had to finish the game in one sitting. Also the core of the story wasn't interesting at all.
I didn't play online much, but it's great for now and when I find more time i will surely go back and try my luck again...

But the puzzles are way to easy, and I understand that it is kids game, but still they should be a little harder, because now they become boring very fast. Story is a bit short, but there are some awesome moments that only Lego and Marvel can provide.

Fetch is interesting character and the story is nice but only around 4 hours long which maybe don't justify 20 dollars for this dlc, but for 5$ it's a great deal and even better if you got this for free with ps+.
Also there are challenges which are very good and prolongs experience with this super fun game and there is a easy platinum trophy.
This is different experience than I:SS because it's more based around challenges but it's still fun and cool game.

Killzone: Shadow Fall - PlayStation 4
Only on PS4 | Year: 2013
Metascore: 73
Amazing graphics, one of the best looking PS4 games, but that's the only thing truly amazing in this game.
There are some cool features, and some great scenes, but also a couple of very dull missions that damaged the whole experience for me. The campaign is longer then in BF4, but just like in the BF4 I didn't care for characters or what exactly were they doing. Killzone 2 is still my favorite in the series.
I played only a few matches online, but they were fun and there are some cool abilities.
It's not a bad game, but it is only decent game in a world full of first person shooters.

Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell - PlayStation 4
Also On: PC, PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One | Year: 2015
Metascore: 64
Another standalone DLC on this list. I didn't play Saints Row IV, but this is free on PS+ so I gave it a try.
There are couple hours of fun, typical Saints Row humour and gameplay. The graphic aren't pretty and hell isn't very interesting in this game, but I was having fun flying around and destroying everything with some cool weapons like chair with miniguns or the one that shoot exploding frogs...

Amazing game! I didn't play it when it got released first time, so I was thrilled to finally try it out. You probably know about quirky story, precise controls and hard but fair difficulty, so I'm gonna tell you how much I love this game.
I love this game very, very much it's not only on of the best indie games that I played, but one of the best game of all time.
I was jumping of joy every time I beat some level, and although I died a lot it was very fun to play it. I beaten only light world, so I can't really say I finished the game, and I probably never will beat some levels, but I still love this game.
And my love and appreciation for this game only got bigger after I watched Indie Game: The Movie, it was 10/10 now it's 11/10.

Rocket League - PlayStation 4
Also on: PC | Year: 2015
Metascore: 85
Football with cars, actually it's giant ball with tiny cars. Maybe it sounds stupid but Rocket League is an awesome game. It's very addictive, I just kept saying one more match, and suddenly it's very late and I got to go to work tomorrow, but just one more match. This game is one of my favorite online games, and I'm not even good in this game. Also there is flag of my country, and I got my first PS4 platinum trophy, yeeey.
Offline isn't very interesting, there is only exhibition and season modes, and bots are kinda stupid, so that is my biggest problem with the game. Also there isn't much variety in stadiums and cars.

Also on: Vita, PS3 | Year: 2013

I heard a lot of praises for this game, and I didn't believe it, to be honest. But I tried the game anyway, because it was free on ps+ and it blew me away, it's really great and unique little platformer.
First you have to play campaign which is really cool and relaxing with interesting music and nice variety between the levels. When you finish the campaign you unlock death mode which is a lot harder. Death mode is very luck based so it can be very frustrating, I finished only a couple of levels for now.
There is also mode where you can create your own levels, and there are a lot of user created levels which you can play, so the replay value is very high.

Velocity 2X - PlayStation 4
Also On: PC, Vita, Xbox One
Metascore: 86
Velocity is fast paced vertically scrolling shooter and in some sections side-scrolling shooter/platformer. It's retro, fun, beautiful with music that suits the game well. Gameplay is very fluid and works very well. Levels are not hard to finish but if you want perfect score the game is very challenging. It was a bit of repetitive at the end for me, but overall it's a very good game.

I'm a single player person and campaign and gameplay matter the most to me, but I like to play online a bit also, and I love when there is good photo mode in a game with amazing graphics.
I will add more games when I finish them.
