From my favorite director, Takashi Miike. This is one fucked up musical, based off the Korean dark comedy called The Quiet Family. It’s about a family that runs a bed and breakfast, and how the try to hide the bodies of the guests that mysteriously keep dying.

Grease (1978)
This was a movie I got into when I was a kid because of a girl I liked, and I have been watching is endlessly ever since. I don’t know what it is about it, I just the story with Danny and Sandy played by the lovable Olvia Newton John. Love the songs, love the characters, and love the nostalgia.

The Wizard of Oz (1939)
An amazingly imaginative story adapted into a timeless classic, one of the greatest fantasy films of all time that never gets old and has many memorable tunes.

Funny Face (1957)
My favorite Audrey Hepburn movie of all time, so elegant and so delightful. Hepburn is irresistible in this movie, almost too adorable to concieve. The infamous bar dance scene is my favorite.
I loved cute little Debbie Reynolds in this movie, she was just so cuddly and lovable. I always get chills during the Singing in the Rain scene, it is just as great as everyone says it is.
I’ll never forget the first time I saw this movie, I was like “what the fuck is this shit?”. And after it was all said and done, I was instantly a fan. Such an odd one, and I still wouldn’t dare go to a midnight showing. Some fans take it WAY too seriously.
I was actually in this stage play in middle school. No major part though. I was like Audrey II leaf #3 or some shit. But I just love the fact that they made a full blown musical out of an old Corman B-Movie.
I don’t care, I loved this fucking movie. Loved the story and the bloody musical numbers, along with the performances by Depp and Carter. Lots of open throats in this flick!
Cry-Baby (1990)
I know I know, what the hell is this doing on the list, right? Fuck it, I’ve got bad taste, and John Waters has just the kind of style that I enjoy. Mr. Pink Flamingos gives us an oddball musical starring Johnny Depp and former pornstar Traci Lords. That is just wicked.

A lot of musicals can be annoying, but here are some that I absolutely love
