Favorite Music Artists

This group is wonderful to listen to and timeless. Between Freddie Mercury's vocals and Brian May's guitar work, you can't miss with this group. I've listened to them so much over the years that my kids now love them also.

This is a guy that we rocked out to when in high school. I can remember driving through town with his music cranked up so high the people driving next to us would give us dirty looks. Try out "Stranglehold" and you'll know why we did it. If you like live music, this guy puts on one of the best live shows I have ever seen and listened to.

I got turned on to this band when I was in the Marines. This group was one that would be played every time when cold ones were broken out. The neighbors would know that we were drinking again.

Want to take a trip and never leave home, turn on some Floyd. Great music to listen to when you want to mellow out or end the party when your running out of gas.

A band that has had its ups and downs, but always seems to come back strong. Great headbanging party music. They have some great rock anthems that are timeless.

Another group that I got turned onto in the Marines. Some of the guys from the South were listening to them before they were really popular. When these guys were cranked up you knew someone had opened up a cold one.

What can you say beyond awsome. If you've been living in a cave and haven't heard of them, go to your local music store and buy their greatest hits of "Ones". Thats right, they have had that many number one hits. Enough said.

I was stationed in Kansas City (go figure) when in the Marines and got turned to them when I lived there. These guys are a great concert band. Saw them fill and rock Arrowhead stadium.

Another great concert band. When I was in KC they sold out their tickets in one day for a stadium show. (This is before the internet.) People waited in line for hours and hours just to get a chance to see them live. Listen to there music and you'll know why.

I was so lucky to be living in and going to college in San Diego when these guys were going strong. Country Dick Montana was worth the price of admission to see live. They never were well known and were mostly a club band, but boy could they rock. I think their claim to fame was a Budweiser commercial. A couple of the members are dead now so we can't see them play any more. Rest in peace guys.

Heard of these guys. Most people haven't, but I'm telling you these guys can play music. They are a midwest band that I got turned onto when I lived in that part of the world. The vocals are amazing and the music rocks. If you can find a copy of their music, it is worth the purchase price. Check out the tune "Big Fat Blond" it is hilarious.

A legendary band that will always live on. Morrison was such a dark soul with a vision that was amazing. He had a way with words that few song writers can equal. Its too bad that he left us as early as he did.

This group has some great rock anthems. Remember "Smoke on the Water", I thought so. Great music to crank up and sing along to.

I heard him say one time that he wasn't a great guitar player because he only knew how to play four chords. I don't know if he was serious, but if thats the case, he plays four chords better than anyone else I've heard.

Back in the 70's this group was wonderful. My first cassette case was from these guys. I'm sure I listened to it until it wouldn't play any more because I've bought the album over a few times since. They have many athems that are great to sing along to still to this day.

This is another one of the first singers that I listened to. He has a great vocal style that is easy to listen and sing along with.

These guys can sing. I don't know what else to say beyond the fact that they have great songs and are amazing to listen to.
