Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 Portable - PlayStation Portable
Persona 3 was already an awesome game. P3P refined it’s battle system, added a new perspective and added a lot more depth to an already deep game. More then just a port, P3P is one of the best in the series.

The whole series is wonderful, and volume 3 brings a fitting and striking close to this hauntingly beautiful series.

Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne - PlayStation 2
Nocturne is amazing, inside and out. Outside there’s awesome character and world design as well as an awesome and unique soundtrack. Inside there’s solid mechanics, addicting gameplay, and an RPG with real challenge.

Odin Sphere - PlayStation 2
Odin sphere manages to be one of the sixth generation’s most visually impressive games, all without using any 3D graphics. Its beautiful hand-painted sprites make the game feel almost alive, teaming with little details and wonderful animation. The gameplay doesn’t disappoint either. It plays much like a strange hybrid of a beat’em up and an RPG. Yet somehow it’s strangely addicting.

Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn - Nintendo Wii
Every Fire Emblem is great. In this catalouge of greatness, Radiant Dawn is the best put together, best writen, and most fun of the series.
One of the best tactical RPGs out there and a must-own for any fan of the genre.

Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 - PlayStation 2
The always wonderful Persona series’ fourth installment is just as good as its predecessors. With a more close-knit and personal story then Persona 3, Persona 4 does a really nice job of making Inaba feel like your home, and your party feel like your friends.

Assassin's Creed II - PlayStation 3
I've been to Italy. It was only for a week on holiday, but still I can attest that this game is so spot-on it feels like your actually there. Besides just that, as a history nerd, I really appreicated being able to play a game set so acturately in a time period I love so much.
