Out of the box it tastes exactly correct. Which isn't a surprise since "birthday cake" is an artificial flavour anyway, they just sprayed it on Kix this time. Oddly, when incorporated it takes on this flavor that reminds me of artificial banana. It's... not pleasant.
CD Smiles's rating:
It's chocolate cereal. It's all the same. Except this one has a slightly unpleasant texture that scrapes my tongue and feels bad on the teeth.
CD Smiles's rating:
I love this. I don't need to explain to you what blueberry flavouring is like, but this is like Blueberry Toast Crunch (which is amazing) except less in your face, and available in Canada (currently, at least) Cheerios are a good vehicle for this flavour as well.
CD Smiles's rating:
Opening the package reveals an overwhelming maple smell, however the waffle-shaped pieces just kind of taste like plain waffles, and I think that might just be me wanting to taste that. However, it all comes together once added to milk. The texture is very thick and hard, so letting it soak a bit helps it a lot, the flavor opens up and I don't think I have to imagine the waffle flavor anymore, it's actually there. This should be a cereal aisle staple.
CD Smiles's rating:
Slightly more exciting than regular Lucky Charms

The chocolate pieces are cocoa puffs, the cone pieces are golden grahams. Now, the mint puffs are the interesting part, I don't know if mint is a flavor that's been done in cereal before, it's a pretty mild taste, but in milk it all comes together. The mint really shines and even though nothing new is happening otherwise, it's good anyway.

Smells wild but tastes like not a whole lot. Same issue regular Froot Loops has, since they got rid of the artificial flavors, and this doesn't even have the same texture as regular Loops. Really mediocre.
CD Smiles's rating:
Reese's Puffs with a more satisfying shape and a way better texture. Crunchy, like eating a bunch of tiny cookies. This is a perfect cereal.
CD Smiles's rating:
What is this flavor supposed to be? What flavor is pink? The only thing I can really compare this to is the Birthday Cake Froot Loops, but it's a lot better than that. I don't really know how to explain it... It's alright.
CD Smiles's rating:
Intensely sweet. It doesn't taste exactly like Golden Oreos in the way that Oreo O's does to regular Oreos, but it's nice nonetheless. It is really good despite being over the top sweet, the best part is the flavor it leaves in the milk afterwards.

Dry, it tastes like a living hell, in milk it tastes like nothing at all. Great cereal.
CD Smiles's rating:
It's made from the same mold as Kix. Which is disappointing. It's an unsatisfying shape. I was hoping it'd be more comparable to the size of Corn Pops. Speaking of corn, the flavor is hardly powerful enough to be noticed over the actual cereal.
CD Smiles's rating:
Pretty much the same thing as Strawberry Toast Crunch but a bit more of a subtle flavor. It's kind of amazing how it actually somewhat tastes like toast. I think I like this one a bit more than Strawberry.
CD Smiles's rating:
I can't explain the flavor, it doesn't taste like any other fruit cereal. It has the exact same stick-in-your-teethitude as Cap'n Crunch though. Like, my teeth actually hurt right now. It tastes good though.
CD Smiles's rating:
This cereal smells like a box of Timbits. (Do you wonder why I haven't eaten this until now?) However, once acclimated there's no real discernible flavor at all. It's not repulsive. Why is this Captain Crunch branded anyway?
CD Smiles's rating:
The same soggy texture you're used to, but with flavor now! Actually, out of the box it tastes exactly like Frosted Flakes. So if you hate flakes, this is for you I guess? It's alright.
CD Smiles's rating:
Somehow this is actually better right out of the box than in milk. Not to say this is bad in milk, but this is one of the best cereals to eat dry that I can think of.
CD Smiles's rating:
This cereal just smells like coffee beans. It was overwhelming. Somehow it tasted much milder. Slightly bitter and with a noticeable chocolate taste. With milk it tastes like practically nothing. It's weird.
CD Smiles's rating:
It's basically clumps of Rice Krispies that taste exactly like Rice Krispies Treats. Of course, the texture isn't the same because for some reason cereal can't have anything but weird, hard marshmallows. It can't be a preservation issue because marshmallows are just preserved chemicals anyway. Point being they're hard and not super nice to eat out of the box. All this being said, it's really nice and better than regular Rice Krispies in every way.
CD Smiles's rating:
This tastes as close to an Oreo that anything that isn't an Oreo could. Oh my god this is wonderful.
CD Smiles's rating:
I'm into the smaller shape and this is one of the better chocolate flavors.
CD Smiles's rating:
Pretty promising out of the box, it was nice. After you add milk it's really just... bleh. Can't say much else about it.
CD Smiles's rating:
I actually have eaten Cookie Crisp before, but it's been many a year. This is a really unconventional one because my favorite things about this cereal are the satisfying shape and how great the leftover milk is. Those two defining factors aside, the cereal is above average.
CD Smiles's rating:
This is bizarre. Dry, it does kind of taste like that "birthday cake" flavour that's been all the rage these days. Although it's overwhelmingly perfume-y. In milk, it practically loses all flavour whatsoever. This cereal confused me.
CD Smiles's rating:
It's Trix.
It is exactly Trix.
I was initially excited about this until I remembered that Trix sucks since the artificial flavor apocalypse.

CD Smiles's rating:
This is a food that I would describe as "effective". While it did get mushy real fast and moments ago I would have just called it "fine", here I am left completely full, satisfied, and I have a lovely little taste of maple in my mouth. I would be ready for a day of work if it weren't midnight.
CD Smiles's rating:
I bought this to get free shipping on a pair of pants...
Out of the box the taste was offputting but not unpleasant. Hard to explain. When I first applied the milk the cereal seemed like it didn't want to be eaten. Very tough. But as a result of that I can say it's the only cereal I can think of that didn't get soggy while I was eating it. There's not much flavor to it but something about this equation adds up to a positive. I fuck with this.

So I was really disappointed here. I know it just looks like Lucky Charms but I was expecting them to at least have a different flavor due to lawsuits and such, but no. It's just really low quality Lucky Charms. When dry it tastes like cardboard and Styrofoam, but magically when you immerse the cereal in milk the taste is almost exactly like Lucky Charms. I've been on record saying I don't like Lucky Charms but I wasn't forcing myself to finish the bowl. Kind of nice, and at least now I can be sure I ain't booty.
CD Smiles's rating:
I don't like chocolate cereal but for some reason I just had a feeling that this wouldn't be like other chocolate cereals. I was right, but that doesn't mean it's good. The flavour is so familiar and I just can't place it. It's almost nostalgic, but not something I want to eat again.
CD Smiles's rating:
The actual cereal pieces vaguely taste like fruit cereal taste, but kind of more just like Windex. There's also cereal marshmallows on this, which I have been on record as a hater, but maybe they're not so bad. I really don't know what this was going for, it's totally half-assed. That said, not completely unpleasant.
CD Smiles's rating:
After submerging this in milk the strong tastes of the dried apple and cinnamon become dulled and a lot nicer. It's pleasant enough, I'd never pick this over regular Honey Bunches of Oats though.
CD Smiles's rating:
No artificial flavours or colours, and you can definitely tell, but not really in a bad way. It tastes familiar but I can't really equate it to anything else I've had... It's like one of those off-brand Froot Loops that come in a bag instead of a box. It's pretty nice for about 20 seconds and then it becomes completely monotonous and the oversized pieces become pretty unpleasant. I was pleasantly surprised at first but nothing is compelling me to go for a second bowl.
CD Smiles's rating:
Dry, this tastes faintly like strawberry and very faintly like chocolate. But hey, this is the first chocolate cereal I've ever had to actually kind of taste like chocolate. This changes in milk and everything gets a lot better. This is tremendous and it makes me sad that these two will probably be limited. I'm really surprised that they came up with two unique and tasty cereals for this property.
CD Smiles's rating:
Immediately upon opening the bag was a very distinct caramel smell which was pretty impressive, especially considering that it doesn't taste a whole lot like caramel. Oh well. The weird thing is the texture, this furry-like film while dry doesn't sound too appealing but it's nice for some reason. It's pretty good, I'll finish the box and then not buy another one.
CD Smiles's rating:
I was immediately adverse to this because I don't like brown sugar but this basically tasted like there was nothing on it until moments after I was completely done the bowl when I got a slight taste of brown sugar which dissipated immediately. So good for me I guess, but this cereal is dumb.
CD Smiles's rating:
The flakes get really soggy really fast, and that is a significant problem. Due to this the texture could be a lot better than it is. Sometimes it's hard to have the honey flavor come through (see: Honeycomb) but this is just right on that front. It's nice.

So this is actually a 50/50 split of regular Chex and full-on Cinnamon Toast Crunch tasting Chex. The combination of the strong flavor only being half of the cereal and Chex's texture allowing the milk to really seep into the cereal make this really light and pleasant. Essentially a moderate's Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
CD Smiles's rating:
This tastes like chocolate cereal. If you presented me with this I honestly couldn't tell you if it was Nesquik or Cocoa Puffs, and if I hadn't tasted chocolate cereal before I honestly couldn't tell you what this was supposed to taste like at all. Not a lot to say about this, doesn't warrant a revisit.
CD Smiles's rating:
There are two flavours of chocolate cereal. Nesquik and anything else. Now that's a lie because this doesn't taste like either of those. Not that it really matters because none of them actually taste like chocolate. The texture is the best part, making this the best chocolate cereal I've had, but that isn't saying much because I generally don't like chocolate cereal. It's pretty good, ain't no Fruity Pebbles though.
CD Smiles's rating:
Quite nice when dry but somehow loses it's flavor almost entirely in milk. I'm also not a fan of marshmallows in cereal. Will not be finishing this box.
CD Smiles's rating:
I would say underwhelming but I can't say I expected much. I already forgot what this tastes like, it doesn't help that I don't really like Chex to begin with. This is still sitting in the cupboard beside Berry Kix.
CD Smiles's rating:
This is awesome. I'm not even sure what the flavor is supposed to be, but the name is appropriate and I actually stopped eating Just Right for a while until this was gone. I'm glad Just Right is back in my life now though.
CD Smiles's rating:
I was really interested in a berry cereal but the flavor is so faint that you end up just tasting the corn. I'm actually kind of interested in regular Kix now, I mean it wasn't great but I wonder if it's better when it's not supposed to taste like something else.
