And only I seem to like them. The ratio of Adventure to Harem varies. Some common elements include: Character gets dropped into magic world or magic world comes to him. Main character goes WTF to the magic world. (except in Tenchi where its to the harem) In general the characters are much more aware of the world they live in and deal with war marriage aging time travel and death in a more realistic way. Right? The redhead is assertive if not downright violent. (except in Tenchi where its the blue spiked hair girl)
