Of The Best Cities In The World For Young People..
Some people say that San Francisco is home to a little bit of everything and whether you’re a first-time visitor or a longtime local you will love being there. The city ranks near the top of the index in a number of categories such as median salary, public transportation availability, as well as density of takeout restaurants and entertainment options. Another plus is that it is one of the most open-minded cities in the world where people are not discriminated for their social status or sexual orientation.
It’s not easy to describe Berlin and only by being there does one realize how amazing the energy and vibe of the city is. In Berlin you can literally go out at night till you drop since the nightspots have no official closing times, and it’s COMPLETELY up to you to decide what time you want to go home. With more than eight million visitors every year, mainly young peeps, Berlin is one of the most vivid and fun cities to live in.
Toronto is big and you are likely to find a bit of everything there especially if you’re a young fella full of energy. With a population of over five million, there are plenty of stores and institutions to cater to such a huge number of people but you have to keep in mind that during winter the temperature can drop extremely low so you better be prepared if you decide to move there.
New York City
It would be COMPLETELY unrealistic if we tried to explain within a few lines why New York is one of the best cities in the world for young people since we could literally make a whole list with twenty-five reasons why New York is THE best city in the world. To make a long story short, New York hasn’t earned the title of “capital of the world” for nothing and they don’t call it the city that never sleeps for nothing.
Greece has been on the brink of bankruptcy for the past five years but Athens remains one of the most beautiful historical cities in the world, with amazing monuments to admire on a daily basis, the longest coastline in Europe, and a fascinating downtown that never sleeps and is teeming with young people. Also, the weather is great 90 percent of the year.
Parisians are known for their awesome style and ego like few other cities in the world. They don’t apologize for enjoying life from a young age and it’s a safe bet that after a few days mixing with the beautifully dressed people browsing the pâtisseries of Montmartre, chatting with the locals at the markets in Le Marais, soaking up the sun by the Seine, or sitting at a café sipping café au lait, you won’t be able to imagine life any other way.

Living in Los Angeles isn’t cheap, that’s for sure, and public transportation could definitely be better but still the “city of angels” has some of the best entertainment options in the United States, from Hollywood studios and live music venues to beautiful beaches and hiking trails. Not sure if it’s all the glory and glamour the city carries on its shoulders but there’s definitely something magical that attracts hundreds of thousands of young people from around the world to visit it and end up staying.
Back in the early 1990s the rise of grunge, thanks to the incredibly talented Kurt Cobain (Nirvana), made Seattle one of the hottest destinations for young people and students who were fascinated with the whole grunge lifestyle. Twenty years later, and while most of these young men and women are now in their early to mid-forties, the Emerald City remains very popular with young people since it has one of the lowest unemployment rates in the US, and utilities are incredibly cheap.
London is probably the most diverse and multicultural city in Europe with some of the world’s most famous attractions and ACTIVITIES. With so much to do and all the artistic and musical history the city produced in the twentieth century, it’s hard to see or do everything there in one visit. You need to keep going back and if you’re courageous and optimistic enough to handle the horrible weather you might fall for it in the end and want to live there for the rest of your life. Anyone up for a few rainy days?
Many seasoned travelers from around the globe say that Tokyo has become the New York of the twenty-first century—the new “capital of the world.” I’m not sure if this statement is 100 percent true but if you’re into all things high-tech, big-city lights, mad traffic, endless shopping, and bizarre but delicate cuisine, then Tokyo is certainly the right city for you.
Buenos Aires is the capital of Argentina, the birthplace of the tango, and the motherland of Diego Armando Maradona. It is one of the largest cities in South America, with a lot of cultural offerings and a great nightlife, and it is also the main point of departure for traveling to the rest of the country.
With lots of high-paying jobs in government and tech, Austin is the livability index’s second-best city for employment in the United States and is famous for its beautiful blondes. Add to the mix the cheap but quality Texan food, cheap beer, and a thriving music scene and you know the place to be in case you’re looking for a new town to try your lucky stars.

It also has a growing nightlife and is viewed as a shopper’s paradise.
With almost twenty million in its metropolitan region, São Paulo is a beehive of ACTIVITY that offers a jovial nightlife and an intense cultural experience. Istanbul has it all: over 2,500 years of history, culture, and tradition, amazing landmarks, a vibrant nightlife, and breathtaking views. This transcontinental metropolis is a fast-paced cultural melting pot you can’t afford to miss, especially if you’re a young man or woman who wants to learn and taste new things.
In Barcelona you will find plenty of shops, pubs, and restaurants waiting to satisfy your shopping addiction and love of fine food.
