Description:
Many series falter and grow repetitious after the first season; Fullmetal Alchemist only gets better. As the saga of the Elric Brothers unfolds, director Seiji Mizushima deftly blends powerful emotional drama, physical action, and broad comedy. With his gang of chimeras, Greed kidnaps Alphonse. In the ensuing battle, what Ed had learned about the origins of the Homunculi is confirmed. But he discovers that the non-humans have weaknesses and can be destroyed with the right equipment and sufficient willpower. In a curious series of conversations and flashbacks, the viewer learns that even Lust is haunted by doubts and questions.
