This book should be for enjoyment only, don't trust this to be a mind blowing, outrageous kind of book, it's suppose to be based on history, but I found a few bits in it that were quite bad from the fixed history in the Russian Royal Family, but other than that..give it a try.

"In Anna Karenina, Tolstoy wrote one of the greatest works of synthesis in prose history: this novel pretends to be about a few braided love-stories but it contains more themes, characters, and political ideas than most shelves of books do."
