Giuseppe Mangiarotti, Edoardo Mangiarotti's father (the first from the right) was a fencing master and 17 times Italian épée champion.
He took part in 1908 London Olympics in individual and team épée competitions.
Rosetta Pirola, Edoardo Mangiarotti's mother (the second from the right), was an épée fencer.
Dario Mangiarotti, the oldest of the Mangiarotti brothers (the first from the left), won a gold medal in 1952 Helsinki Olympics and 2 silver medals (London 1948 and Helsinki 1952). He also won 9 medals at the World Championships (5 gold, 1 silver, 3 bronze).
Mario Mangiarotti, the youngest of the Mangiarotti brothers (the second from the left), won a silver medal in the 1951 Stockholm World Championship.
Edoardo Mangiarotti is the third from the left.
