Original caption:Pulitzer Prize winning author William Faulkner (right) chats with jockey Eddie Arcaro at a stable in Louisville, May 3rd. Faulkner, whose novel, A Fable, won the Pulitzer Award for Distinguished Fiction the day before, is in Louisville to cover the Kentucky Derby for a sports magazine. Former Derby winner Arcaro is there to work out with favorite Nashua for Saturday's running of the Kentucky classic.
