Veena Sood is an award-winning actress, known for her versatility in theatre, film, television, radio and improv comedy. Her television credits include recurring roles in numerous series including Life Unexpected, Battlestar Galactica, Caprica, & Little Mosque on the Prairie, as well as several Movies of The Week.
Born in Nairobi, Kenya, Sood came to Canada when she was seven. Raised and educated in Calgary, Alberta, she became a drama student at The University of Calgary at age 17.
