2017 Emmy Nominations Predictions (42 tv items)"1.David Mandel- Veep: "Groundbreaking"Veep is still the likely frontrunner for the top prize, and should make the writing category again. Last year, the show got two episodes in; they may be able to do it again. Of the two episodes that they submitted, "Georgia" and "Groundbreaking", I see the latter as having the better chance. Sure, "Groundbreaking" premiered near the end of voting, but Mandel's the showrunner and that's almost always a plus. It also helps that he was nominated here last year."
