TV shows I have watched with my ex-wife (40 tv items)" Seasons : only 1 episode (I did watch the whole thing on my own later on) Notes : I bought myself for Christmas a DVD-box with this TV-show and 'The Pacific'. I thought I might give it a try with my ex-wife but, after the 1st episode, she said she didn't care about it at all. Usually, it takes her a few episodes to get into a 'new' show but she apparently didn't feel like spending more time on this one so I guess I will have to finish it on my own."

“This week I saw three things based on WW-II novels. The first was 'The Pianist' about the Warsaw ghetto in the war and the survival of a Jewish pianist in that ghetto. The second was 'De Tweeling', a Dutch film about two twin-sisters, separated in 1926. One of them grows up in Nazi-Germany, the other in The Netherlands. That movie shows us more of the common persons during the war, Germans and not-Germans. The third was 'Band of Brothers', a true story about combat in the war. All three things are great, the films I mean, and you definitely should see all three of them.

My biggest disappointments in entertainment (146 tv items)"Wherever I looked about this series I found people saying that it's some sort of nearly flawless masterpiece and that obviously set up my expectations really high and needless to say, I wasn't please with what I found here. There is some very good stuff here, I won't deny that, but I also have so many issues with this title which ultimately makes me think that it was just ok."
