I've read quite a few of the books listed and have most of the others on my TBR pile but there have been some I really did not enjoy I made those in bold. I have read some for classes and some just because they are so highly discussed. I know a few that I've marked as ones I disliked are highly regarded by others but I honestly had to force myself through them.

Slightly above average:

5. To Kill a Mockingbird - Harper Lee

4. Harry Potter series - JK Rowling -The last three I read by myself, the first four were read to me.

6. The Bible

18. Catcher in the Rye - JD Salinger

29. Alice in Wonderland - Lewis Carroll

I was a bit confused about the inclusion of both "Chronicles of Narnia" and "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe" all being on the list. I've read the entire Chronicles of Narnia series, though.

33. Chronicles of Narnia - CS Lewis

36. The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe - CS Lewis

41. Animal Farm - George Orwell

59. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time - Mark Haddon

76. The Bell Jar - Sylvia Plath

So, if we're counting an entire series as just one, then I've only read six. On the other hand, if we're counting each book separately, then I have read 14. Either total isn't too bad for someone who isn't considered an adult by American standards.

I was planning to read 1984 by Orwell.
I already read
11. Little Women - Louisa M Alcott
14. Complete Works of Shakespeare (read most of his works)
18. Catcher in the Rye - JD Salinger
