50 Villainous Continuous

Here is the list ladies and gents:
The Top Villains of Cinema
As started in the first thread, this community project is to gather the worst, insidious, disgusting villains on the cinematic screen. So far we've had over 20 members contribute but I'd like to see some more of you guys involved to get a better sample.
So for any members who haven't contributed, I'm gonna make it easier to join in by only asking for 1 nomination with unlimited backings (as usual). The list below contains all the nominated villains so if there is someone missing, be sure to nominate them for the good of the project!
A nomination consists of a description of why they are a fantastic villain, followed by their most notorious act.
Simple. Images are optional. Backings are highly appreciated aswell, if you see a nomination you like. Name them in bold so I can add it to that villains tally.
As for those who have already contributed (Prelude, pamela voorhees, vanious, robelantor, abhijeet, Elfflame, 350125g0, doudouce, Vix, GemLil, Uber, The Pioneer, Grand Assault, Bael, schwarzerabt, escafeld, Sam I Am, Dionysian Child, RB6K and myself) you now have the ability to unback. I'm afraid its only one unback (for the time being) so use it wisely. Just state the villain you don't think should be on the list with at least a sentence of reasoning.
I'm still looking for more Nominations and Backings from the main contributors so feel free to keep your opinions coming in.

The Joker
Portrayed by Heath Ledger.
The Dark Knight
Inspiringly evil in a maniacal and chilling way, The Joker is not only the greatest threat to society but he does it with style. Ledger’s performance was monumental for the restart of the Batman franchise and an even more legendary Joker is exactly what it needed! He claims he isn’t a schemer but we all know that everything was working out perfectly for this insane genius.
Most Notorious Act: Creating extreme ultimatums for Batman and the innocents of Gotham.

i unback Shooter McGavin - Happy Gilmore
reason: are you serious? i mean the worst this "villain" did was to play the "antagonist" in a bad comedy. sure, if silly dialogue could kill, this villain would be worse than Genghis Khan, but without that being the case just remove him from the list.

Nominated:
The Joker : The Dark Knight
I don't think this movie was the best ever but this version of The Joker is nasty. He doesn't give a care in the World about anything or anyone and is seriously just plain nuts, in a smart way, and that makes him a perfect villian.
New Villian:
Sebastian Medina played by Vincent Price
Sebastian Medina started out as the perfect husband and was a normal caring guy, until his wife betrayed him and that's when the shit hit the fan. Soon his fathers evil torturious deeds from the past seeped into Sebastian's blood and subconcious mind and he began to touture his fellow fan. He didn't get to do so for long but his evil intent was stark raving mad!
Couldn't find any pictures of this character on google or IMDB

Unback: Commodus - A roman emperor who was not a villain just a big foookin wuss with lots of sh|t scared minnions to do his bidding who had they not done his bidding would have been taken to task by all the other sh|t scared minnions. Left to his own devices to produce some villainy & get his hands dirty would have rolled into a foetal ball & shook uncontrolably, a complete fookwad & a disgrace to real villains the world over.
PS: I am so fooooookin glad the other thread has been closed. It took ages to load what with all the images, can we keep this thread clean with text only please. :-)

Don't forget to make some Backings boys?!!?!

Backing Francis Costello from The Departed....can't believe I forgot him.

Unbacking
T-1000 : Terminator 2: Judgment Day
T-800 : The Terminator
I honestly don't think robots should be allowed on this list. Any robot can be programed for "evil" and I don't consider them evil myself, they're just doing a job.

I'm afraid you don't have the right to Unback atm. However, being evil isn't the only trait we are looking for in a villain.
What was Sebastian Medina's most notorious act by the way?
What was Sebastian Medina's most notorious act by the way?

I was just writing another thread and it hit me that I had forgotten histories biggest monster, I'm nominating;
Biff Tannen - Back to the Future
The bullish ignoramus that gets by in life by intimidating and bullying. Biff can usually be found with a couple of cronies to help do his bidding. Biff particularly preys on the weak and weedy looking, making him a bit of a coward himself. The Tannens have been the scourge of Nerds throughout history, but nobody can doubt, with his high-school high-jinx, Biff is the baddest.
Most Notorious Act: Sexual harassment and subsequent molestation of Lorraine (Baines) McFly.

"What was Sebastian Medina's most notorious act by the way?"
During The Pit and The Pendulum he nearly kills a guy by fear of torture with the blade swinging closer and closer to him until it cuts his stomach just before being saved. He killed on fella and locked his wife up alive forever in a metal case.

Nominated by Nonfictionguy
Damien Thorn
Portrayed by Harvey Stephens

Picture of Harvey Stephens at Listal
Whilst others may have moments of villainy, Damien is evil incarnate. Born from a jackal, son of the devil and destined to become the antichrist. Damien is the greatest threat to humanity! Even though a mere child, he is not innocent and anyone posing a threat is killed without mercy. Few child actors could play such a huge role so well as Harvey Stephens.
Most Notorious Act: When his step-mother becomes pregnant with another child, Damien knocks her off a balcony with his tricycle and the unborn baby is killed.

Nominating:
Queen Bavmorda, played by Jean Marsh
Bavmorda gets my nod for being so unapologetically nasty, and for the most part, not screwing around with elaborate setups. She casually sends armies to slaughter villagers, mutated dog/boar-things after children and midgets, turns invaders into pigs, tosses her treacherous daughter around like a ragdoll, and even keeps a stable full of pregnant slave women...presumably for future sacrifices. She makes guys like Emperor Palpatine seem taciturn and limp-wristed by comparison, and for that, she gets my nomination.
Most Notorious Act: Turning an entire army into pigs, including her own daughter, and attempting to murder a baby in a ritual sacrifice.
(Thinking about it now, maybe I should've nominated the Reverend Kane from Poltergeist II. Dude STILL freaks me out.)

Nominating:
Daniel Day-Lewis as Daniel Plainview in There Will Be Blood
Disturbing character with evil intentions and a very cruel way of viewing things. Resentments and greed drove this character to great despair. Daniel Day-Lewis won an Oscar for Best Actor in this role.
MOST NOTORIOUS ACT:
"I drink your milkshake" scene. Suffice to say, it's literally not about milkshakes.
Backings:
Anton Chigurh : No Country for Old Men
Bill the Butcher : Gangs of New York
The Joker : The Dark Knight
Hannibal Lecter : Silence of the Lambs
Pinhead : Hellraiser
Keyser Soze : Usual Suspects

Oops. And one I missed earlier: Ra from Stargate.
Oops. And one I missed earlier: Ra from Stargate.

Borg Queen from Star Trek: First Contact
Played by Alice Krige

Out to either destroy every non-Borg in the universe, or to assimilate them, she is the hive mind of the Borg, and not to be messed with.
Most Evil Act: Wiping out the Federation by traveling back in time.
Miss Eva Ernst aka Grand High Witch from the Witches
Played by Angelica Huston

A truly evil creature who not only hates all children, but wants to wipe them off the face of the planet.
Most Evil Act: Plotting to destroy every last child in the world.
Debbie in Addams Family Values
Played by Joan Cusak

All Debbie ever wanted was the perfect life. But everyone kept messing it up. So she had to do things her way. Didn't she have a right to be loved?
Most Evil Act: Separating Fester from his family.
Ursa in Superman II (and for a moment in I, as well)
Played by Sarah Douglas

General Zod's right-hand girl, and general man-hater, would like to wipe out (most of) the race of men...or maybe play with them for a little bit.
Most Evil Act: Aside from supporting Zod? Helping kidnap Lois Lane, I suppose.
*spoiler*
Lady Van Tassel in Sleepy Hollow
Played by Miranda Richardson

In order to get revenge for the wrongs done to her and her family, Lady Van Tassel resurrects the Headless Horseman to go after her most hated enemies. And her enemies are anyone who gets in her way.
Most Evil Act: Plotting the death of her stepdaughter to gain all of the proceeds of her husband's estate.
Played by Alice Krige

Let's see what I can find,
The Operative - Serenity
A mysterious assassin hired by the alliance to reclaim River Tam and bring her back to their holding facilities. By any means necessary.
Most Evil Act: Besides working for a an oppressive government that caused the death of millions, he made a prison official throw himself on a samurai sword. Which...ya know....besides being evil, is just pretty damn badass.
J.D. - Heathers
Wins the heart of depressed young Veronica with a very dark proposal:The solution to all the people who make your school days a living hell? Kill em all, Baby.
Most Evil Act - Attempting to blow up the school in a powerful final act of vengeance.

Gmork
Voiced by Alan Oppenheimer

The Neverending Story
When I first watched this film, I cannot explain the terror I felt when the Gmork was on the screen. When he almost catches Atreyu in the Swamps of Sadness, I was quaking!
The Gmork serves the Nothing which is trying to see the end of Fantastica and all living things within it. The Gmork is sent to kill the only person who can stop the Nothing, a task he relishes in. He is a being without a world of his own and travels throughout many others not caring about what his actions will do. He has no remorse and lives to destroy.
Most Notorious Act: Relentlessly trekking across all of Fantastica for the boy, Atreyu, who he is told to kill. Even when he loses him, he still hunts him down.

Bill : Kill Bill
Jean baptiste grenoule
Micheal Myers

in Halloween
Micheal is a psycopathic killer from a young age. From the first film we learn he can kill anyone without a second thought. He has survived through several films and not sustaining a single hindering injury. His music theme as he stalks all of his victims alone makes him an iconic villain and the opening scene from the original film solidifies his status as a sinister enemy.
Baddest deed: His first kill, it was his sister! as far as I'm concerned it was evil and unprovokd. It was all for his own delight.

The Lord of the Rings
The rock and pool, is nice and cool, so juicy sweet. Our only wish, to catch a fish, so juicy sweet.
The decaying hobbit has been obsessing about his precious for over 500 years. His entire life was devoted to keeping the ring for himselfs. Gollum lived a pitiful existence at the core of a mountain for most of his unnaturally long life but by chance he lost it and made it his soul purpose to get it back by whatever means necessary.
Always lurking in the shadows, he waited until Frodo and Sam were alone before he made his move. He slowly seeded descent between the two friends and took them to the dark places of Middle-Earth where no one else would want to go.
Most Notorious Act: Murdering his cousin for possession of the Ring.

simply because she is beautiful, angelic and... unredeemably evil... a truly unstable, pathologically jealous, narcissistic, cold-blooded femme fatale in a modern Greek tragedy.
Most Notorious Act: the drowning murder of her younger paraplegic brother-in-law

Count Zaroff
Portrayed by Leslie Banks

Most Dangerous Game
A prime example of 1930s villainry. Aristocratic manner, foreign accent, devilish beard, the works. Zaroff lives in a castle on a tropical island with a bunch of faithful Cossacks. He lures ships onto dangerous waters, rescues people from the shipwrecks, wines & dines them in his spooky castle, and then hunts them like animals, and displays their heads in his trophy room..
Most notorious act: fondling his facial scar

Named fifth worst movie villain, by the American Film Institute, Nurse Ratched is a cold, dictatorial nurse who controls a psych ward with an iron fist. From elevator music played loudly throughout the day to rigging group votes, Ratched finds ways to excacerbate the numbness the patients experience in the minds. All the patients follow who rules placidly until R.P. McMurphy (Jack Nicholson) joins the ward. Ratched catches on to his game and figures out ways to make his life more difficult.

Owner of a pie-shop on Fleet Street who knew Sweeney before his incarceration, and vows to help him get revenge, though she has other plans in mind for him as well.

Not sure about who I want to unback yet, so I'll hold onto that for now, but there's three more for folks to think about... :)
And hopefully I'll be able to find more.

I haven't read this entire list but has anyone mentioned Vincent D'Onofrio as Pooh-Bear in The Salton Sea?

If no one have nominated Professor Severus Snape (from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince) yet, I will!
