I would like to tell respectfully that i have never seen a rule bad as this one.Listal is all about sharing and you are preventing me from sharing images...

Ever thought of Tumblr? They let you post whatever you like, you may need to go elsewhere for cleaning materials though.

This, sir, is part of Operation Take Out The Trash. This issue has been all kinds of covered in the last few weeks, but here's a little summary:

1. People are tired of seeing trashy porn stars flooding a site that is supposed to be friendly to all ages. As a result, all kinds of new things are happening, including this rule. In addition, everyone seems to be teaming together to clean up all these gross galleries to make Listal a better, cleaner site. Everyone I talk to has been reporting the hell out of that kind of shit.
2. Having profiles full of pictures of these people is asking for disaster; it makes more work for the mods to clean up all the nudity and potentially lawsuit-inducing crap.
3. Many of us wanted the adult models gone altogether, so be glad you at least get those three pictures.
4. There's a gazillion sites across the internet dedicated to porn and porn stars. Go use those.

i would like to tell you guys that Zaira Nara not a porn star or a adult Model...Do whatever you want with porn stars but in this thread im not talking about Nudity please don't prejudge before understand...if you go look at internet even Candice Swanepoel has nude shots,so if you prevent people from posting Zaira Nara pictures i would like to see if they can apply this rule on big stars like Candice,İrina,Adriana....

And im not sure but i bet Zaira Nara is not the only profile effected from this rule...i dont know what is the criteria to apply this rule on models but i would like to learn if someone who know explains.....

i also reported tons of these trashy pictures...i am coming to this site because i like beauties(that could be a beautiful actress,model,or a scenery maybe) and also i like to look movies,tv shows talk about them and see what other people talks about them,look movie lists and chose what to watch next...Everyone is so much obsessed about nudity that they are missing the real point...

If you feel you have a case where you think the model was wrongly identified, you can ask a moderator to change it. Tom actually gave the mods power in this. And yes, since it's a new system there are models who will be wrongly identified at first.

But the rule itself is fine. Limiting pictures in adult model profiles is going to be a big help to the mods and site in general. And since you just made it sound like you had a problem with the rule and didn't fully explain what was going on, that's what caused us to "prejudge."

So yeah. A moderator will have to take a look and decide what they think of Zaira. Some of the pictures you uploaded have tags that lead back to nude sites (notiblog) which is against the rules, and a lot of pictures in her gallery involve her not wearing much for clothes (no, not just from you), so you might want to be careful with the pictures you put on if you don't want her to be mistaken.

I dont know what is the criteria to apply this rule on models but i would like to learn if someone who know explains.

1. The primary source of a information regarding if a profile should be set as 'adult' comes from IMDb. Once an 'adult film' is added... the Listal system should be flagging the cast as 'adult.
2. The secondary source of the 'mature flag' is moderators and site administrators tirelessly cherry picking through thousands of profiles and find ones to flag as 'mature'. These are all noted for moderators to see that someone has manually confirmed this and set the flag.
4. The third way profiles get labeled 'mature' is just the plain old fact that when something new is introduced there are bugs in the system and suddenly Elizabeth Montgomery is flagged as a porn star... it happens.
5. And yes... last reason. Sometimes moderators... as organic constructs and limited by our mortality, the inherit flaws of mortality, and the fundamental laws of nature that govern all life... do actually make mistakes.

Nope... I really don't see it that way. Ether Listal can become an 'adult only site' and lose members or not become an adult site and lose members. There are actually several art blogs that I follow that I absolutely love and it posts quite a number tasteful nudes, even if most of them aren't to my taste... I still love having the images on that site... it adds something to the site but that isn't Listal and we do not have one person deciding what should be allowed as 'tasteful and appropriate. I think male and female nudity can be quite beautiful... but I don't see how it has a place on Listal.

The rules have been set and I try to follow them the best that I can... that is all.

Final Note: I did not set the flag for Zaira Nara nor am I as knowledgeable about the modeling world as most of the other moderators on Listal. So, while I would love to flag that profile differently, currently there are quite a number of questionable images in that gallery that a moderator will need to tend to. Also, I am not going to undermined the work and superior knowledge of my fellow moderators.

I am sorry but another moderator is actually going to have to make the call on the Zaira Nara profile. I'm still getting glue out of my hair from the last time I fought with brazilfashion over the nationality of a runway model. If you want to know the hexadecimal code for Lime Green , then I'm the guy to talk to (#00FF00 is web safe on most browsers and systems)... models... ya... not your guy.

I have changed this profile to Lingerie/Swimwear model. I will delete any images in the gallery that need deleting.

This new rule is a very good step forward. Godd luck to the moderators to make this work!

The new rule is fine for the future, but there is plenty of old pictures in adult profiles. Often there are more than 3 uploads per user, because they were uploaded before the new rule was enforced, and many of those images are against the rules anyway.
I guess manually reporting and deleting all of those would be hard and boring work. Maybe Listal software might do it automatically, that is to say delete old pictures in adult profiles when there are more than 3 pics per user.

^ The OP: It will certainly be a long and drawn-out process but it is one that we, as moderators, are working on constantly. With the new 3-image rule on adult profiles limiting new, incoming pics for those we will, sooner or later, finally have them all 'cleaned up'. It is just going to take some time.

Adult model is different than swimwear or lingerie model. They are two different classifications. If the model does mostly lingerie and bikini shoots she will be classified as so. Victoria Secret models are classified this way. Just looking at Zaira's first page I can tell she's a lingerie/swim model. You may upload as many pics as you want to galleries like this.

Doesn't matter if they're retired from doing things that will be considered as adult-orientated material. If they've done such things in the past, the pictures of that said thing does still exist. And in order to prevent such images from reaching this site, that rule is in place.

You're free to upload as many images as you want to two of the profiles you mentioned, as long as they don't break any rules. You can guess which ones.

No one is buying your bull. They want to be nice but I could care less about hurting your poor pervy feelings. I'll say it. A porn star is a porn star is a porn star. Even retired, Sasha Grey still made her name by taking off her clothes and servicing people for a living. That in no way makes her comparable to an actor or actress that does some nudity in film or photography. Yeah Madonna has nude pictures of herself but she is in no way an "Adult Entertainer." There are tons of actresses and models that have posed topless (Marilyn, J. Biel, Kim Basinger, Raquel Welch) but comparing them to someone who makes fake O faces, masturbates and gives blow jobs for a living is just about as stupid as things can get. Go troll somewhere else.

And as always, I want to say thank you for your time and invite you to spend yours elsewhere if you find the rules so abhorrent to your ideals of freedom and anticensorship. Go start a tumblr or something and post all the big boobs, girl on girl, and shemales you want.

Because I think that the football player Nani is not an adult model.

I've changed it. That was ne of the system glitch ones that was automatically deemed adult, not manually changed. I've put it to safe. Please let us know if you find others like that. With any automated computer system there are bound to be some errors.

Maybe it's just me, but how is this image OK for children?

If you would ask me, I would say 'remove the damned thing' but, unfortunately, since she is not a pornstar, since it is Sport Illustrated pic (which are usually deemed acceptable) and since she doesn't show her private parts, she won't probably be deleted but I might be wrong. Let's the Mighty Moderators decide!

We allow nudity so long as everything is covered. The chain she's wearing is covering all the important parts. She's not showing anything you wouldn't see in a lot of bikinis these days.

If another moderator disagrees with me then so be it, but I personally have no problem with most SI pictures. There are a lot of pictures around here that show the same amount of skin and we've left them alone.

If you want a definite answer on whether or not something is allowed, then ask Tom. It's his site.

Can such profiles not be deleted or at least Limited?

The is nothing against the rules of these kind of profiles or posting pictures/videos on them. I have watched documentarys on serial killer's before, it doesn't mean I support them or like the people in the documentary. If these kind of profiles are removed/restricted where do you draw the line? Maybe other celebrities with a criminal past should also be restricted such as www.listal.com/o.j.-simpson

By the way, people watch movies and TV shows about serial killers all the time. So, what is the big problem with Listal profiles?

What Tom said makes sense to me, that's all. And, I never thought that having a Listal page with pics about any person is meant to "glorify" them. Otherwise, I wouldn't want a profile for cheesy actors, either! :D

Kidding aside, maybe there are some fans who admire those twisted guys you talk about, but most people just hate and fear them, yet many people are interested in information about them, like when you read a book or watch a movie about serial killers.

The "no porn" rule stands on a completely different basis, which, in 5 simple words, is: children have access to computers!

The 3-image limit on porn stars has a very practical reason, I guess: Moderators cannot check (and delete if necessary) thousands of images. It makes their job easier.

However, if you don't agree with the 3-image limit, you had better discuss that, not ask for *more bans* on other stuff, I say!
