Hulking (six feet tall), mustachioed American supporting actor Theodore Lorch (or billed more simply Ted Lorch) first gained recognition onscreen as Chingachgook in Maurice Tourneur's handsome production of Fenimore Cooper's The Last of the Mohicans (1920).
