Percy Herbert was an English actor. He worked predominantly from the 1950s into the 1970s and became one of the most recognizable faces in post-war British cinema. Herbert is known for his roles in "The Bridge on the River Kwai" (1957), "The Guns of Navarone" (1961), "Mutiny on the Bounty" (1962), "Becket" (1964) and "Casino Royale" (1967). Herbert also served in the Royal Army Ordnance Corps during the Second World War, spending four years in Changi, a Japanese prisoner-of-war camp.
