"This album is legendary for a reason. Minutemen were able to combine the classic punkrock attitude with out of this world musicianship and unique, creative vision many other bands couldn't even imagine. Boon and bassist Mike Watt spitting political rants and brainy working-class yarns, while Boon’s gnarled guitar leads occupied the middle ground between funk, jazz, hardcore and John Fogerty. Standout tracks: “Corona,” “History Lesson, Pt. 2”"
