Description:
A group of young BMX riders are confronted with the unexpected and violent death of Jonas, one of their friends.
Being the only to have witnessed the incident, they all look at Jesse (15) for answers.
His companions’ looks and his inability to answer their questions gradually isolate Jesse. The grief for the loss of his best friend and the growing feeling of loneliness stand in the way of Jesse’s search for comfort.
Violet is a visual account of a teenager’s mourning process.
