“Even though the critics really hated it, I actually enjoyed ‘Venom’ so I still wanted to check this sequel out. Well, this time around, I’m afraid I would have to agree with the critics though. Indeed, even if I wasn’t expecting a masterpiece, it still turned out to be rather disappointing, I’m afraid. First of all, pretty much like with its predecessor, they came up with a rather weak story. Indeed, there was absolutely no link whatsoever between Eddie Broke and Cletus Kasady but, at least, the way Kasady became Carnage was not so bad. However, the biggest issue was with the relationship between Broke and Venom.
