I'm sure that most of us were surprised when this sequel to the 2008 hit film was announced only a few months back. Let's just hope the wait was worth it. Actual Score: 91%. 10 Cloverfield Laane is a tense, well-acted, and very well directed thriller with layered and ambiguous characters. Despite what the title implies, it's not really a sequel to the 2008 film, but more of a distant cousin."
