The Man Who Knew Infinity update feed
"The Man Who Knew Infinity has good storytelling even it is too long. Award: *Best Supporting Actor (Jeremy Irons)"
" DVD- 1hr. 48min. First Viewing Respectable and often mildly stirring, The Man Who Knew Infinity can't ever break out of it's bloodless funk to create something intriguing. Sure, it's interesting, but it never lures the viewer. It's very much in line with that dull collection of biopics that goes through to much information, and not enough insight. Patel and Irons are very good throughout though, and it's quite well made. "
"Dev Patel as Srinivasa Ramanujan (an Indian mathematician and autodidact who lived during the British Raj.Though he had almost no formal training in pure mathematics,he made substantial contributions to mathematical analysis, number theory, infinite series and continued fractions) "

" 8.17 An interesting biographical tale of the early century Indian math genius and autodidact Ramanujen who journeys to England to publish his formulas and wow the masters of Cambridge. A Beautiful Mind meets Slumdog Millionaire as it stars Dev Patel with Jeremy Irons and Toby Jones, among others. Though short on cinematic directing, its straightforward telling is inspiring."
