The Hole Story (The Hole Story) (2005)

In this existential comedy, aspiring TV producer Alex Karpovsky is on a mission to frigid Brainerd, Minnesota to unravel the mystery of an inexplicable hole that opens up in the thick ice of North Long Lake, despite the arctic temperatures which sheath Minnesota's lakes. Alex is determined to record the unexplained phenomenon for a television show called 'Provincial Puzzlers,' but instead slowly becomes engulfed in a maniacal search that leads to his own unraveling.
