My Top 10 Other Favourite Comedies (10 movies items)

"This is another story that we've seen many times before, but just works particularly well here. The story is simple: an unemployed man needs money to support his son, so he gets the idea to get his friends together and form a striptease act. And I think that's what makes the movie so inspiring: that it's all for such a personal goal. Well, even though it was indeed  a decent watch, I can’t say I was really blown away by the whole thing though. I mean, I always had a weak spot for Robert Carlyle, especially back in those days when he was one of the most interesting British actors at work, and it was a fairly entertaining story but not much more than that in my opinion. Eventually, 4 years later, the director Peter Cattaneo tried to be clever and he came up with ‘Lucky Break’ which pretty much recycled the very sa” read more
