Mustanaamio7's Movie Diary 2019 (251 movies items)"26.6. 2019 I have no idea what was going on in this film. I guess it is supposed to tell us about dangers of a virtual world or something like that, but the convoluted story is hard to follow and the main characters are hopelessly bland. The popular culture references aren't enough to save the otherwise exhausting science fiction film. The most unrealistic thing about the film is the suggestion that young people in the 2040s would be still listening to Van Halen's "Jump"."

“Spy Kids 3D done wrong. Spielberg is old now and he doesn’t even supports Netflix, the irony of not supporting a big corporation yet makes a movie that’s about to praise any kind of corporation. The protagonist could have being a minion and it would had more layers than this puppet.” read more

“I already saw this movie but since I have it on Blu-ray and since I just brought a brand new awesome TV, I was quite eager to check it out again. First of all, even though I have never been a huge fan of Steven Spielberg, his movies are always a big event so I was quite intrigued by this movie, especially since it turned out to be quite successful at the box-office. Well, to be honest, I have to admit that I was actually quite positively surprised and, as far as I’m concerned, it was Spielberg’s most enjoyable movie in years. Indeed, the damned thing was visually really impressive and I wish I actually saw it in the movie theater when it was released. I was also surprised that most of the movie was actually CGI animated but, in this genre, it is easily one of the most satisfying movies” read more
