"This was a great sequel to one of my favorite films. Begbie is still one of the scariest characters in any movie."

" Does Trainspotting need a sequel? Not really in my opinion, though I understand Irvine Welsh did write more books about the characters. The fact that the cast is returning along with Danny Boyle suggests this will be well worth my time, but the trailer isn't really grabbing me for some reason. Hopefully as its release date approaches I'll be more enthusiastic, or else some reviews can encourage me toward it."
“Like anyone else, I had some mixed feelings when I heard that they would make a sequel for this classic. Eventually, after watching the damned thing, did we really need this sequel? Probably not but was it a bad movie? Certainly not either. Indeed, what made this movie still work was the fact that Danny Boyle was involved and the original cast as well. I wasn't too enamoured with the storyline - thought it was a bit weak but it was great to be reacquainted with the characters once more. Danny Boyle does a decent enough job of getting us up to speed with what the characters hav"
"April 8 "I'm sorry, I'm trying very hard, but I just don't feel anything." "We are here as an act of memorial." "It's just nostalgia! You're a tourist in your own youth. We were young; bad things happened." Saw this in theatres mainly because nothing else of interest is playing right now and I did love the original Trainspotting. I didn't have the highest expectations going into this because I don't just love the first one, but it's also my favorite movie of 1996 and even a contender for my "
"First viewing - April 1st I kicked off the new month with a new movie in a theatre I hadn't been to yet. The theatre has 4 screens, nothing too fancy but the seats were super comfy & they've got a bar which I didn't take advantage of this time. Had I got there as early as I'd originally planned to I might have, but there's always next time. Best of all though the audience was entirely respectful, no issues with talkers or people checking cell phones. Now initially I wasn't too excited for this"
