"It is well directed more than I would ever hope for. The movie is very terrifying and psychological. It exhibits really scary feelings and thoughts. How a person can lose himself and how a person can be obsessed with one version of someone else. It is a story about a girl who leaves pop idol life to be an actress and loses herself on the way and a stalker who is just a lunatic beyond comprehension. " Date: 10/25/2020 Viewed: Blu-ray Re-Watch Note: Perfect Blue is probably my favorite animated movie of all time next to Ninja Scroll (1993) and Waking Life (2001) in my opinion. Everything about this movie is breath-taking from start to finish. I remember when the movie came out on VHS in 1999, but I never saw it at the time.
