"Three hillbilly chain-gangsters are on the lam and on one stop during their backwards evasivity from the law they take the time to sing and record a hit song that takes the countryside by storm. For me, I found this flick to be, by far, the second funniest film in the movie genre of the sublimely funny hick flick. And yes, that is a movie genre. Unfortunately, there are only two movies that make up this genre-specific category so far (the Coen Brothers' Raising Arizona being the other one)."
